I think I'm finally quite content with how it turned out. Now let's see if I can turn it into a finished colored piece in time for Halloween.

Was telling people at work to go see Wildwood but warning them that it earns it's PG13 rating. I was like, it's more in line with Studio Ghibli, but Princess Mononoke, not My Neighbor Totoro.

This is the show Alexander and I worked on with Eric Bauza. I didn’t realize it was on YouTube til @jadomian.bsky.social posted it. He’s on camera, front and center. A big chunk of the show is him interviewing friends about his favourite subject: cartoons.

youtube.comStayToonedTVJoin Eric Bauza as he sits down with his talented friends for a deep dive into the world of cartoons and how they shaped us. Fun Games, hot takes, interviews, and more.

Absolutely devastating.. Eric was so kind to us, especially early in our careers. A wonderful person..

Eric Bauza has sadly passed away at the age of 46, his family confirms in new Instagram post.

To piggyback on this, I wanna talk about Eric in the movie as Bugs. Like, his Bugs was always great, but doing "Bugs as Deep Throat?" Fucking perfect. A downright bravura performance, hand in hand with the best animation of the film. Because it had to be. Because it was Bugs.

Eric Bauza’s final film performance, as of right now, is Coyote VS ACME. Roadrunner’s testimony is one of his final character performances in the film. He says “Beep” around 46 times, that’s all he says. Yet it says everything about his strengths and passion as a voice actor, with just one word.

I try not to make big declarations about things when I’m full of recency bias, but I genuinely think Wildwood is the best thing Laika’s ever made. It solidly exists in that space between Labyrinth, Narnia, Over the Garden Wall, and Willow, and it’s been a hot minute since we’ve had a movie like that

You know what, I think voting will be a tomorrow thing because I need to sit down and read through everything, and I do not feel like it. Lets finish that painting.

Dragons from my sketchbook this last year, including one of my dracthyr characters. Primarily done in pen with a dash of pencil too.

Okay lets see... exercised a bit (upper body), did the dishes, got some laundry going... just need to vacuum out my car and run over to the grocery store - which I will do after I get the next load of laundry in the dryer.

Still need to finish this painting and vote, and do a water change on the fish tank. Not in that order. The painting might be a tomorrow thing, IDK. OH, and dinner. I might make that pumpkin gnocchi I got the other day. >.>

Bolsonaro-friendly mayors appear to be sabotaging public transport on Election Day. Buses aren’t running in Lula-friendly areas, flights and ferries mysteriously canceled. Traffic lights have gone out and people’s power cut in Salvador, indigenous people’s travel restricted

This is Laika’s magnum opus. The story is simple, but gripping. The world feels alive and dangerous. The danger itself is real (people DIE in this). The animation is so good, I forgot it was stop motion at parts. Art in motion on screen.

For people curious about IRL Portland: Wildwood is not real, but Forest Park is. The other side of Forest Park is Beaverton, not more wilderness, alas. We have the largest urban flock of crows on the planet, and they are our friends, actually. The Ivy is 100% real and evil (highly invasive).

The nuanced discussion on LLM can’t happen for a long time because the education around it has been deliberately muddied in order to permit massive methods of harm. There is no accessible source of truth for the general public regarding how LLM works, && how it different from ML and AI.

Trump takes money from polluters to exempt them from EPA emission rules and appoints lobbyists from industry to regulate themselves. The corruption here is staggering. POTUS is taking money to poison Americans and arguing national security to do it.

JUST POSTED: Today at The NYT we are publishing a major investigation into how President Trump used his executive powers to expose millions of Americans to greater cancer risks. A six month-long investigation built on more than 10,000 pages of FOIA records. Read it www.nytimes.com/2026/10/24/c...

We played it in school. Like, as a part of history class. XD At break sometimes we'd play Lemmings or Tetris. And in middle school the shop teacher had a newer computer so if there was a long line for the equipment you needed we'd play Sim City.

Americans who went to school in the 90s: did you play Oregon Trail? Did EVERYONE play Oregon Trail? I keep seeing it come up and wonder if it was truly that prevalent

Mom walked in here just now with Bake Off spoilers and I'm like. No. No, we can wait to watch it. Why are you coming at me with that? I'm putting my headphones back on.

Sorry still thinking of $1,200-$1,800 dollar console just conceptually. Those are Real Computer numbers. You can just get a real computer for that kinda cash. The entire premise of the console is “this is a baby computer you don’t control but it’s standardized and affordable” but they can’t do that.

A bug would be a flaw in software producing unintentional behaviour What's shown below is a change log in which they added a bunch of adult sites to a list called `BLOCKED_DOMAINS` They either did this deliberately and are backtracking or there was no oversight when this change was published

Good news! Apparently it’s a bug. We’ll have to see if it gets fixed later on
