David Ellison once again 💩 on the 5625 career film makers that have clearly opposed this merger based on the loss of competition, consolidation of power&decision making, loss of jobs and the ridiculous idea that he is going to make more movies with less money because he is starting $83 bil in hole.

David, if you want this charm offensive to work, your dad should sit for an interview. Maybe with an unemployed ex-60 Minutes reporter. He can make the case for giving CBS, CNN and TikTok to a guy building an AI surveillance dystopia. What could go wrong?

It's 2026 and it seems like our lives are being actively made worse by what can best be described as a cast of Dick Tracy villains.

I think if you needed any more evidence that the cuts are shortsighted and focused on cutting as deep and as fast as possible with little regard for the future, this is pretty definitive. That engine felt like magic in some spots. A colossal waste of talent and resources.

I find it interesting that the same people who vehemently swear that the Bible should only be translated literally argue the opposite when it comes to the constitution. It couldn't possibly be that they hold no actual beliefs and simply choose the most convenient option when necessary.. right?

Fighting for kids to receive state-mandated Bible instruction while fighting against those same kids receiving free lunch is exactly the kind of religious hypocrisy Christians should stand against. This is what it looks like to take the Lord’s name in vain.
