“If you don’t like public executions just don’t watch it” says the crowd trying to ban drag shows and books

This is brilliant. Norwegians do humour well and here to make a serious point.

Abstinence makes the church grow fondlers.

On Dolly Parton Day, I'm remember how she... -Gifted millions of free books to kids -Ensured musicians she worked with got union benefits -Helped fund medical research and the COVID vaccine -Donated millions to communities hit by natural disasters -Funded high school band programs She is missed!

Society grows great when young men plant trees in whose shade they shall never rest.

My wife just learned that my audiobook is on Spotify and can be streamed with a Premium account—and she would like you to know that. 😊✌️

We know that out of control data centre development has led to 23% of electricity being consumed by data centres. A recent report found that data centres consume 80% of electricity in Dublin, yet Uisce Éireann can’t or won’t tell us the effect of data centres on water consumption.

People are waking up and momentum is growing against data centres. Data centres are driving up prices for us all, while they only pay half the price for electricity that we do. Housing developments stalled, new electric buses can't be charged, more public transport delayed. #BanDataCentres

Having cats is basically babysitting drunk friends: Someone’s always hungry, someone’s puking, and someone’s yelling for no reason.

It was my birthday on February 10th and, according to tradition, I would be glad if you would repost my work!!

Rain outside is endless and spring is nowhere in sight. Waiting impatiently for the day to get stuck back in the gardens and see the bluebells grow for real. Now its rain, rain and grey. This heals. Beautiful beyond. Thank you, @tismark.bsky.social #gardening #bloomscrolling

Owners of dogs will have noticed that if you provide them with food/shelter/affection, they will think you are God. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that if you provide them with food/shelter/affection, they draw the conclusion that they are Gods. - C. Hitchens

Witcher 3 Skellige question mark looting saved the world. They were crucial to the success. Same goes to BG3. Elderbrain will just have to wait. If inventory isn't full of rotten carrots to sell to the kobold trader to top off your potions and scrolls, you forget to use anyway, the game is lost!

Our feline has maximised his twatness today. Legos have been swatted underneath furniture, food is particularly revolting in this #caturday , the indoor cat is not allowed to become outdoor cat and slave's keyboard requires a hairy cat arse on it to express displeasure toward reduced attention.

I've been browsing through this artist's art and I've had more emotional responses to pieces than when enjoying my morning coffee and reading current events. Fuck man, let me be a piece of unmalleable rock in peace - feelings are hard. Really though: absolutely beautiful job. I adore these. ❤️

🚨BREAKING NEWS FROM 1955: Get the polio vaccine.

Beautiful art piece and a sentiment. Gorgeous. Fecking hell ❤️

Don't judge your art too harshly.

Anyone who downplayed the threat of the anti-vaccine movement was either not paying attention or had been bamboozled. Sadly, many of us warned about its pseudoscientific assault on public health for years. And now it’s mainstream. And children are dying.

Maria Shriver, niece of JFK: He was a man interested in the arts, culture, education, language, history... It is beyond comprehension that the president has sought to rename this great memorial. C’mon my fellow Americans! Wake up! This is not dignified. This is not funny... It’s downright weird.
