As August comes to a close, I am proud to say I SMASHED my goal of 100 #appxnjam reviews! 💪 In one month, I read over 500+ pages of #OSR goodness, in 120 adventure modules, by some of the #TTRPG scene's best, newest, & most diverse talents! 🎲

My toxic trait is that I find whaling a kind of romantic fantasy. It's melancholic and grotesque the way men risked their lives for meager pay hunting the largest animal on earth in an environment hostile to human life. This is in essence what dragonslaying should be.

I’ve never seen an “evolutionary psychologist” argue a point that wasn’t insanely racist or misogynistic. As far as I can tell the enitre purpose of the field is to attempt to prove that the minorities they don’t like are stupid brutes and women are deceitful whores.

I had a lot of fun reading this! The briefly implied setting really sets the tone for the dungeon, you could imagine a whole setting where adventurers are 'Waterbearerers' tasked with quests for their Anchorite masters. Great job!

you know what's crazy is that you can make an argument that the printing press is a crucial origin of both commodity capitalism and modern nationalism.

The thing about spineless politicians is they truly have no positions. Everything they do and say is about their own power. This isn't him taking a principled stance, its him realizing he can't afford to hold an unpopular opinion. Its a good sign on public perception though.

Abolish the legal gender marker entirely. No government can be trusted to have a database of which people have changed theirs, no government has any business tracking what your gender is "supposed" to be in the first place.
