Just finished #lunaabyss. What a great experience. Absolutely loved it. A unique cross between Metroid Prime and Doom. Atmosphere and vibes that reminded me of Nier Replicant and Bioshock. Can’t recommend it enough. Thanks to all those who brought it to life! store.steampowered.com/app/1933000/...

Mass Effect was my ultimate white whale, my all-time dream project. For the last couple years I'd been in discussion w/ BioWare & EA to take on the project & as part of that I wrote close to 20 minutes of music to explore where the franchise can go next, may as well share it!

I am in Cap Haitien interviewing people deported from the United States. I have been doing this kind of work for almost a decade and it literally does not get more dire than this. People have lost everything they built in the U.S. and are terrified and have no place to go or way to live.

"By asking them to read, professors are arbitrarily withholding information from students by forcing them to get it through this more difficult medium." Your depressing read for the day (gift article). That quote is about students at HARVARD, by the way. www.theatlantic.com/magazine/202...

Announcing my new futuristic arcade snowboarding game that takes place in space! - inspired by SSX, with tricks, combos & boost - gravity bending tracks with lots of shortcuts - equippable gadgets like grappling hooks It's called CarveOut 2160, and you can wishlist it on steam! #gaming #indiegames

As someone who played Bioshock Infinite at release and had many conflicting feelings about it, this easy was worth reading and sharing. The sentiments it conveys about games and life seem more relevant than ever. It was disheartening to see how little has changed. We could all do with more of this.

I do think there could be more public debate and dialogue, more spirited exchanges of ideas about what it is we’re all doing here when we review games. Tevis Thompson made IMO a very stirring argument 13 years ago and really, not that much has changed since then. tevisthompson.com/on-videogame...

None of this makes any sense, except as desperate rationalizations from a man who cannot face facts and admit defeat. On the most important questions of war and peace, the president of the United States seems to be losing his grip on reality itself. www.theatlantic.com/newsletters/...

The game did the work of honoring Southern culture, and the way that it is built on African folklore. It saw the language we use in the South, the superstitions we build our lives around and said that it is not only worthy, but it is thanks to Black people and culture that we have this beauty.

Sorry, maybe I shouldn't say this but ahahah. I am very angry. So I went to Xbox's Fan Fest event to attend a preview event. And it was the most flagrant display of wealth imaginable. Five stories filled with caterers and hundreds of smiling faces there to assure me of the brand's strength.

Today is the last day of Dreams on a Pillow's main campaign. Despite Israel massacring people in several countries including Palestine - here's a courageous Palestinian-made game about where it all started -about the 1948 Nakba- and on how things were before it. www.launchgood.com/v4/campaign/...

I’ve been playing a wonderful game called Tides of Tomorrow. Lots of choice and an interesting approach to storytelling. If you are playing you can choose to follow those who have played already. My code is 1977-9400 if anyone wants to follow my story choices.

The seemingly never-ending series of bad news blurbs on Rashee Rice continued yesterday. I wrote about what happened, why it should lead to some trust issues about Rice's availability for 2026, and some options the Chiefs should seriously consider. mnchiefsfan.substack.com/p/the-rashee...

A "piece that was killed" is something we hear over and over again working with press promoting Dreams on a Pillow, not just now but across the years. In some cases the content had been fully written & was pulled right before or even after publishing. In others, it never was allowed past concept.

Over a year ago, I spoke with @rasheedabueideh.bsky.social about Dreams on a Pillow for a piece that was killed before it could be published. I am honored that he was willing to take the time to speak with me again in spite of that and tell me about his beautiful homeland: kotaku.com/upcoming-ste...
