A failed attempt at engagement and conversation. combative conversation and trolling and rage does not work on this platform. Take this as evidence. A monument to a man child's sin.

Philly hated the mascot Gritty at first, but then as other people started to hate on Gritty, too, Philly got real mad and decided he might be a clownfuck factory of a mascot, but he was THEIR clownfuck factory of a mascot, so piss off. Enter the word skeet into the conversation.

Remember, it’s okay for radio, cable, local news, newspapers, podcasts, youtube, facebook, and twitter to be right wing echo chambers. But IT IS NOT OKAY for a new app that’s starting to gain traction to be a left wing echo chamber. NO NO NO NOT FAIR! 😠 😭

This is now at least five Donald Trump nominees who are named in the Project 2025 manuscript. Russell Vought and Brendan Carr authored chapters. Tom Homan, John Ratcliffe and Pete Hoekstra are listed as contributors.

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

We left X and joined Bluesky because those against our parks said, “If you don’t like it, leave.” So we did. And now they’re saying, “No, come back so we can say mean things to you—it makes us feel important.”

Appreciate this may not be a universally popular opinion but the less you treat BlueSky as a crusade or cause, and the more you position it as simply a superior user experience with a better governance approach, the more sustainable the growth will be.

One thing I hope we can do as Bluesky gets larger is be less tolerant of the resistance grifters who will try to hack the platform for engagement and growth without any interest in adding anything substantive or meaningful It’s a different kind of troll.

The K foundation boldly stood against it and have been forgotten by the march of time. Makes me wonder if people can even see the. Anymore.

In 1999, a great white dome rose in the heart of London, at the place where time begins. What did it hold? An artificial wonderland of dreams for a new millennium. A monumental public expenditure. A national boondoggle. "One amazing day". The Millennium Dome - a design thread. (orig tweets 2018)

In 17 days, I have gained 50% as many followers on here (25,000+) as I did using Twitter for 15 years (~50,000). I knew social media algorithms had long severely limited those of us who are trying to serve good information instead of just rage and clickbait, but damn.

The media is the problem. They’ll never hold right wing politicians to account, because the majority are owned by right wing billionaires, & said billionaires don’t want to share the wealth. The bias, propaganda & hypocrisy is off the charts. The media needs to be held to account for their mess.
