Right wing racists are like flood water flowing down a hill. They will pour through any gaps, gouge out deeper channels, and destroy lives. They need damming, and diverting - and their headwaters need draining. Ignoring them (Shabana!!!!! ) just makes matters worse.

Just me saying that any effort to tackle misinformation must be an attack on Reform, thereby admitting that Reform are helping Russia to spread far right narratives and create dissent and unrest.

As Chair of the London PLP, I have written to Reform Chairman Lee Anderson on behalf of London Labour MPs following Zia Yusuf’s vile and racist attack on Cllr Sagal Abdi-Wali. He must retract his remarks and apologise. There is no place for racism in our politics.

Zia Yusuf has tweeted this about the leader of Camden Council, Sagal Abdi-Wali, who has lived in Camden for over 35 years, after arriving as a child refugee in the early 1990s. (Nadhim Zahawi, born in Baghdad to an Iraqi Kurdish family, came to the UK as an 11 year old:should be asked about this)
