Tried Wizards' live game, Dungeon Masters. It's presented nicely, but I couldn't really follow what was going on, so I gave up. Tried Acquisition Inc's Daggerheart game too, didn't connect with it at all. Now watching Natural Six's campaign, and so far it's the one that's actually working for me.

Sometimes it takes me a while to get back into working on the #GodfleshRPG manuscript. And every time I do, I'm reminded how much I'm enjoying it. ... although it still takes a lot longer than I thought to finish this thing.

One of my favourite mechanics in video games is the ability to push enemies off a ledge to their death. They added the "Sparta kick" to AC Black Flag, making a comeback from Odyssey. In BG 3, I love making a warlock with the improved eldritch blast that makes it push enemies away.

Since we got back from UKGE, I've been following Wyldwood on Instagram – a new miniatures wargame – and I'm loving their models. The pitch is basically "fantasy, but Stone Age", and it's being made by a crew who run a YouTube channel doing Warhammer content. www.instagram.com/wyldwoodgame/
