After much research I have perfected the theory of "AI as the One Ring". All AI techbros consistently fall under: - Knows it's bad, thinks they're just built different - Thinks it's inevitable and switches sides w/ no morals - Thinks it's his magic girlfriend - Evil CEO ruling over the rest of them

I got one of these and now get to be a haunted knight! Which I am very happy about ⚔️

if anyone wants a fun lil halloween or autumn themed icon, these are quick turnaround and only $25! 👻 pick sketch portrait on my jotform and tell me what monster or theme you'd like 🍂🍂🍂 form.jotform.com/royalebh/com... #art #oc #comms #commissions #halloween

One of every Lego set ever issued. (That probably actually costs more than $25m but ehh, it's been my dream since I was 8 and still is.)

question for the audience: if you were ultra rich (let’s say $25M), what completely frivolous thing are you buying?

I had so much goddamned fun writing this piece for Defector. Warhammer 40k is fun as hell, and it offers an enormous amount of room for creativity from both fans and the creators working to make media set within the universe.

Semi-relatedly, let's talk about a *good* movie that warped my poor youthful brain! 1995's _Goldeneye_. It is, I think, the perfect Bond movie? (Maybe just because I saw it first, but still.)

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Terminator 3 is a mediocre action movie and a bucket of ass as a Terminator movie, but damn if it didn't hit my brain like a truck a formative moment.

Xenia Onatopp is possibly the objectively worst-written part of the movie, every bit as much male-gazy garbage as the T-X, but OTOH she kills a guy by crushing his diaphragm with her thighs during sex - on-camera! - and tries and fails to do the same to Bond, so who's to say if she's good or not? 🤷

Action, tension, humour, Brosnan makes Bond cool without being too silly or too grim, a script that manages to make a wild geopolitical upset since the last Bond movie seem like part of the plot despite being the plot actually being a standard Bondian "crazed megalomaniac wants revenge and/or $$$".

wouldn't it be funny if they made a looney tunes movie where cartoon peter lorre stands up against a major corporation and then warner bros tries to erase it

As embarrassing as it is to say: Muppet Treasure Island. I freaked out when they fell into the cave in the dark and made my dad physically leave the theatre with me. One 10-second scene and I skipped the entire back third of the movie. 😬😅

I would just like to note that the Allies started winning WW2 when they moved from naming their tanks after racist Confederate loser traitors (Stuart, Lee) to naming them after righteous Union winners (Sherman). The British caught on to this earlier, renamed the Lee the Grant, and never looked back.

I based possibly my all-time favorite D&D PC off a line from one of these! ("When no one is looking, half-orc fighter dedicates kills to Gruumsh", if you were curious.)

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to announce this! If you like the D&D 'walkthrough maps' I've done over the years, I'm proud to present my new book... DUNGEONS! ILLUSTRATED MAPS OF CLASSIC DUNGEONS & DRAGONS ADVENTURES, coming from Ten Speed Press on April 27, 2027! (1/4) #dnd #ttrpg

Too much “what trauma made you like this” we need to get back to the true root of every kink: media you saw growing up

Pompeii is a UNESCO world heritage site not because it was remarkable in its prime, but because it survived to our era untouched: one moment, preserved for all time. But future generations won't know what OUR world was like unless we do the same. This is why we MUST bury Toronto with a volcano

In release order: half games I really liked as a kid and haven't played in years, and half games released and played as an adult. (AOE3 is the one in both categories.)

The really fun one is Banjo-Kazooie, which to the best of my recollection I've never played past about a third of the way into Mumbo's Mountain, but which I watched my brother play a *lot*. We had a lot of fun together with it!

She's a character in a comic idea I have been developing (but is honestly far from coming out) but I have some older designs for her from a while back that I've posted around the internet or on patreon and stuff.
