I passed one yesterday. It was waiting on the entrance ramp onto my road. The driver was lucky it wasn't raining! He had his window down & was kind of leaning out & forward. Apparently the Tesla truck has no easy visibility! Again, this thing was designed as a status symbol, not a great truck. 🤮

Just re-watched"Total Recall" 1990 with Arnold & a galaxy of amazing talent. Mind blown a bit. All of the Martian vehicles look like cousins of Tesla's CyberTruck! E.M. really wants to make a JohnnyCab. & Himself into badguy Cohaagen: "Best job in the world... I can do whatever the hell I want." 🤬

Yes, but (and I advocate for energy efficiency) it makes no sense to transport such a heavy battery. It is like fuel tankers. 80% of maritime traffic is fuel tankers transporting fuel.

Not rational? Then why is it almost universally disliked around the world, besides that it’s useless,can’t be washed or rained on because it will rust immediately & voids the warranty. It’s been recalled 4X since issued, & its shape recalls garbage bins of yore, & dummies pay huge price for it!

No doubt, but ppl are complaining that the battery dies if a drop of water touches the truck, & their warranty was cancelled when they tried to use it. One of them said, that the rain caught the truck on his driveway, & it stopped functioning. Warranty cancelled!🔥

As a former Pacer owner c. 1976, I know ugly when I see it and the Cyber truly is hideous. In my defense, we purchased a Pacer because we were boycotting Japanese cars and buying American. It was a a lemon LITERALLY as it was yellow. Sold it less than a year later. Nuff said.

I'll tell you, after watching one of Elon's Follys be trapped by semis that let me and the other two drivers cyberpunk was cutting off and tailgaiting pass, you aren't alone. It isn't a real truck anyway. My 2011 Prius has hauled more lumber and critter feed than all of them put together. 😅

In a better world the cyber truck would be something to celebrate. An important step forward as we lessen our reliance on fossil fuels. It would be the new car that would get a game similar to punch buggy no punch backs. Now it is just a symbol of everything that's wrong.

Electrics are kind of nice for eliminating tailpipe gasses, but still create particulate from brake and tire wear. A reason to celebrate would be smaller vehicles on more local grids with greater mass transit options. Single serve electrics only slow down environmental decay, sadly.

Easy there. There are many thousands of us on this app, and honestly, we’re nice people. Elmo neither designs nor builds Teslas, but hundreds of really kind and dynamic people do. Seriously, Teslas are great cars. He and the brand should be separated.
