He’s been using his position in housing to go after Trump’s enemies for mortgage fraud. I imagine Trump wants him to do that but with access to all the info of all the intelligence agencies

Aside from the whole "oh for f&cks sake" response it helps me to remember he's getting the best people he can get. Unlike Trump Season 1 no one - - NO ONE - - who would actually be good at their job is willing to work in this administration.

Congressional statute: "There is a Director of National Intelligence who shall be appointed by the President ... Any individual nominated for appointment as Director of National Intelligence shall have extensive national security expertise." America is being the equivalent of tRump-finger-raped.

You’d have done your readers a service if you’d bothered to go look up what the law says about the qualifications to be DNI, explained why they matter, and compared Pulte’s experience against the qualifications described in the law.

WTF 🤬 crazy: “William has deep experience managing the most sensitive matters in America, the safety& soundness of the Markets,” Trump on Truth Social. HUH 🤔 Trump’s choice to elevate Pulte, who would also continue at FHFA, shows how the president is putting greater priority on loyalty to him. 🤯

That's why Trump picked him. He's the guy who has shown he'll use intelligence leaks to achieve political goals. Whatever Trump accuses others of doing is what he'd do himself. He accused others of using the Russia investigation to smear him, which means he'd do the same. This is him doing it.
