Trump on Egypt: "They have very little crime. Because they don't play games. That's why. Like we do in the United States with governors that have no idea what they're doing."

Convicted felon who also committed numerous grave crimes against his country and against dozens of women, children, and men, including inciting insurrection, stealing national defense documents, fraud, sexual abuse, rape, sex trafficking, and more is very concerned about crime in America. 🙄

Just add this to the list of other foreign countries who Trump has admired and wishes we were more like: 1. NK 2. China 3. Russia 4. Turkey 5. Hungary 6. Philippines (when Duarte was President, how he is hailed in the Hague for crimes against humanity, the very actions Trump admired).

Hey Donnie - did you know that adultery is a crime in Egypt with a prison sentence? Thought you might want to know. Oh, also - rape can carry a death sentence, especially for victims under 18. Hope that is helpful!

Just like ICE, disappearing people off the streets. Expect the police force to be incorporated into ICE very soon and anyone who disagrees with him to be disappeared in the same way.

I cannot get used to the POTUS slamming other politicians from his own country at these public press events when he is abroad. Imagine if Obama said something like this or Ronald Reagan or George Bush... I can only imagine what other world leaders think of him. He is a national embarrassment.

lol. There is a travel advisory from the State Departments for American tourists to be careful in Egypt. Our party of 5 tourists had a plainclothes cop with a machine gun under his jacket foisted on us for “protection”. And this was in Cairo!

He can take his entourage. But he has to climb to the top of the pyramids and back down on his own. Climbing the stopped UN escalator to keep up with a fleeing Melania was an act of heroic physical activity for him.

He was at the bottom, within 4 feet of another escalator that was still running. You could tell he was thinking "crap, now I got to follow her up all those stairs once she took off". Probably the most stairs he has climbed in decades.

I'd pay money to watch him run the gauntlet of touts that regularly ply every Egyptian tourist site. "Habibi! You want to buy postcard? Water? Papyrus? Come ride camel!! Just take a look, habibi, my good friend. Just a quick look!"

Murder is down, but I don't think they are counting honor killings in that metric. Also sexual assault is big there. I know trump doesn't see sexual assault or domestic violence as a crime, but they are.

@atrupar.com Wondering if you have a clip of Donnie getting interrupted during his big speech earlier today? Just watched it on Reuters Afternoon News. Several people were removed by security, just wondering what that was all about, they didn't go into it. Curious.

It's an authoritarian dictatorship. That's what Trump is praising. That is what Trump wants in the US, with him as the dictator. That is what he will do everything within his power to ensure happens.

What the fuck is your obsession with Trump's picture. Just about every post has a pic of him. I noticed because I'm hiding any post with Trump's pic because I'm sick of looking at him and I noticed a lot of them were from you.

Trump‘s right. Egypt‘s murder rate is four and a half times lower than that of the USA (1.3 deaths per 100.000 people vs. 5.8). Because they don’t play games and have strict gun control.

I don‘t think that’s true about Egypt having “vey little crime”. Friends were robbed on vacation while in Egypt a few years ago. Scared the bejesus out of them. Cut their trip short.

Wait. I thought this guy was our president. Why does he always go around bashing our nation & everything about our country? He praises authoritarian regimes & dictators, but trashes US governors who uphold the constitution. He weakens us globally every time he opens his mouth. He needs to STFU!

That's because the crime you don't see in Egypt is carried out by the state, particularly the military that runs half of the economy including enterprises that make seemingly benign things like washing machines.
