Trump: "If I were the mayor of a town or the governor or a state, and I had a chance to get a big data center, I would absolutely want it"

AI coding agent pricing keeps shifting as usage grows, with token based billing replacing flat unlimited plans across vendors. The advertised monthly price rarely matches your actual bill. Read the metering terms before your team goes all in on any of them. #AICoding #Pricing #DevTools

What would he most want? That it uses enough energy to power a small country and doesn't pay for it? That it uses massive amounts of water (there goes the water pressure at the WH!)? Or is it the constant low-level hum that drives folks nuts? (Though how would Donnie be any different at this point?)

Yeah, but Demeted Dozy Donnie also wants to bad touch little girls and cover everything in tacky gold. So pardon me if I don't give a flying fuck about what he claims to want because our values are clearly not aligned.

The data centers, the ballroom, the tariffs, the war, our healthcare, the promotion of AI, the attack on free speech, the attack on voting rights, the dismantling of agencies designed to protect us, the elevation of the oligarchy...all of this and so much more. The breaking point has been reached.

Lying piece of shit. So call data centers actually cause unemployment, huge pollution, environmental ruin, and raising electricity rates. They do not employ many people at all. They are a rich people scam. They are a disaster. #FelonTrump #environment #AIunemployed

63% of Republicans don't want a data center built where they live. 74% of Independents don't want a data center built where they live. 75% of Democrats don't want a data center built where they live. He's hanging this loser issue around the GOP's neck. People hate data centers.

Interesting how "data centers" and "crypto mines" look pretty much the same on the inside & outside. Can you tell the difference? All just a grifting money & resource suck for the ultra-rich. NOTHING for the people.

Worked next to one of these in a suburban business park. It was surreal. Maybe 200 parking spaces 95% empty during weekday hours. Could hear and smell their diesel generators when they tested them weekly though. These things don't bring jobs!

But as a resident, that only gets screwed, I'd tell you to go fuck yourself. Beyond initial construction, they do not create a significant number of jobs. Oh well. Let him die on this hill bc maga hates this shit too.

Right?! It's astounding how he always manages to choose the opposite of whatever is good or right or ethical What a waste of fucking oxygen

That's wonderful! Did you hear that Mikie Sherrill and Ron DeSantis? Just eminent domain his properties and start building. After all, the country can go with six less golf courses...

He’ll happily strain local power grids, dry up community water resources, and leave taxpayers with the bill, and his base will still line up to cheer. When people celebrate policies that actively harm their own towns just because he endorsed them, you know the Kool-Aid has already been poured.

- He can’t help but destroy everything he touches, including the republican party — #ETTD They can’t say they weren’t warned…

So let's limit all new data center construction to places right next to Trump properties like Mar a Lago, Bedminster, and Doral. If he loves them so much I am sure he would be thrilled if all of them were built in his backyard.

There are no data centers near Mar-a-Lago. Palm Beach County commissioners voted to reject a massive proposed artificial intelligence data center project known as "Project Tango," which would have been built roughly 20 miles away, following intense pushback from local residents.

Data center: a big empty box consuming resources, that governments at every level fail to properly tax, worse, giving their operators enormous tax breaks. No significant number of "jobs" created either, a handful if that at every one of them.
