Melania Trump on how she thinks her husband is doing as president: "He's doing the best that he can"

Saying "he's doing the best he can" isn't an excuse—it's a warning. If this disaster is his absolute best, then anything else he touches will only make things worse.

He works every day from morning until evening… just like everybody else then. Except, of course, the days he’s playing golf at your expense.

Her response signals "we thought this was a ceremonial role and all he had to do was give dinners and play golf but it turns out he needs to do work - from morning to night!" Seriously? And the Fox folks saying that she works all the time too ... doing what? The public needs evidence of that.

"Listening to science, and comforting an entire nation in the face of unspeakable tragedies. And you did it all with such grace and class and cool that you made the hardest job in the world look like a walk in this beautiful park." - Michelle Obama, talking about her husband's time in the office

Wow. That is NOT a compliment. If someone asks how I'm doing solving a basic math problem and you reply, "She's doing the best she can," you can bet I am bad at math.

The "best that he can" is also what caused her husband to lose money owning a building where most people enter, drop loads of money into shiny machines, and then walk away.

In 1963, I took a tour of a Danish factory where they put those little heart-shaped hams in cans. The tour guide said, in English, "Here in Denmark, we have a saying: We eat what we can, and what we can't, we can, and what we can't can, we export."

It would appear that he's caused a lot of the world problems, he falls asleep a lot and heads off to play golf at every chance he gets (makes) He's doing the best he can and yet it would appear the problems get worse 🤔

I predict the media will not react to this in the same way they would have if Dr Biden had gone on The View in 2023 and said “My husband is doing the best that he can, he works non-stop,” in the same bored tone that Mrs Trump is allowed to use.
