I think former president Obama has that right, certainly. The current conservative, Republican fascist regime is full of deeply unserious people who are basically entertainers, actors, comics, clowns, pundits, presenters, meant to distract stupid people as their leaders do a smash and grab.

Late in his second term, when Trump weighed on me, I sent Obama a letter thanking him for the ACA which had come just in the nick of time for me. I told him I had originally been a HRC supporter but he won me over. He sent a beautiful letter in response.
