Federal law enforcement agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis on Jan. 24 according to local police officials. DHS told Fox News that the man was “armed with a gun”. A video of the shooting appears to show that a gun was taken from the man before the first shot was fired. x.com/BillMelugin_...

Footage taken moments before a struggle shows that the man was filming, holding a phone in his right hand, backing up. His left hand is up, visible, palm facing out, as he backs away from the area. An agent uses his right hand, on the torso of the victim, pushing him back, while the man complies.

Multiple federal agents can later be seen struggling with the man who is shot. One federal agent is seen approaching with empty hands, before reaching around the man’s waist.

Moments before the first shot is fired, this federal agent can be seen retreating with a gun. It appears to match the general appearance of the firearm posted by DHS, including the red dot sight. This agent’s back is turned when the first shot occurs. x.com/BillMelugin_...

Two different agents are visibly firing their guns, with at least 10 shots being heard in total. Most of them are fired after a brief delay, when the man is already lying motionless on the ground. The current videos of the shooting only show these two agents with guns drawn.

The agent in the black beanie appeared to fire the first shots, as the agent in the brown beanie doesn’t draw his gun until after the first shots are fired.

After the first shots are fired, the man collapses on the ground. Agents back away. At least another 5 shots are fired toward the man who is already incapacitated on the ground.

DHS’ Use of Force Policy, that applies to ICE and CBP agents, states that agents “may use deadly force only when necessary, that is when the [agent] has a reasonable belief that the subject of such force poses an imminent threat of death or serious bodily injury” to someone. shorturl.at/2iTI8

DHS released a statement claiming that “an agent fired defensive shots” after an individual approached CBP agents with a gun and “violently resisted” when they attempted to disarm him. DHS claims that he “wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement.” x.com/DHSgov/statu...

This is the video. Please be warned: the video is graphic. It shows ICE agents wrestling a man to the ground, beating him, and then shooting him several times.

video from the other angle, they did not start shooting until they had completely disarmed him. Pure Homicide. what’s worse is that our entire US government now has said that’s our policy and the officer did not do anything wrong. We are fucked. Stand up and fucking fight 202-224-3121 call senators.

Where is the proof that the murdered man ever had a gun in his possession? Isn't it more likely that a DHS agents, trying to justify their brutality against him, pretended to find a gun on him? Don't claim to be journalists, then blindly accept and attempt to prove one side of the story.

“Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said the man was a “lawful gun owner” with a permit to carry a firearm in public, a fact that was later repeated by Gov. Tim Walz.” Victim only held a phone in his hands - video shows his firearm still in waist holster. www.startribune.com/alex-pretti-...

startribune.comAlex Pretti identified as man fatally shot by federal officers in MinneapolisPretti didn’t have a serious criminal record, was issued a nursing license in 2021 and lived in south Minneapolis.

This analysis shows many angles of how the Feds unholstered this victim’s firearm after he was pinned on the ground…then they shot him. So much for 2nd amendment rights - they are using them to justify their executions against innocent white US citizens now. 🫩 bsky.app/profile/bell...

I'm sure DHS will try to use the gun to justify this, but Minnesota state law allows the purchase and carry of firearms without a permit by adults. Given that none of the videos have shown the victim brandishing the gun, its presence has no legal bearing on the shooting.

Yes, but the DHS thugs had no way to know whether he was a lawful gun owner and I doubt these mostly out-of-state stormtroopers are conversant with Minnesota law. My point was it's at least as likely they planted the gun as it is that he brought a gun to a peaceful protest.

Is someone yelling "Gun, he's got a gun" while the guy in grey is clearly holding the gun? Did the victim's gun discharge in that agent's hand, causing the others to shoot in a panic?

I looked again and he doesn’t look like he has it drawn. He just runs away from it before the weapons are fired and disappears. So he’s just a coward. Honestly the way these guys dress it could have been a local nut job vigilante.

Fuck. That video is even worse because nothing obscures what they did. And they took the woman who filmed it hostage right after that. Are they still holding her?

Looks like pink coat woman got close up footage of the shooting and was smart enough to clear out before the murdering thugs turned their attention her way and confiscated her phone. That's gonna be some important footage right there. And she is one brave mf.

See that? It's absolutely clear: The shooter Agent saw the other Agent, directly at his left side, pulling the weapon from the holster of Alex Jeffrey Pretti. The shooter had contact with his left arm to this agent, who left with the weapon, the shooter then took his place and shot. (x0.5) 1/2

At 0:19, the agent’s arm goes from relaxed at his side, to suddenly raising. In a different video angle, the arm movement aligns with the first shot being heard. I think an accidental discharge by this agent is plausible, with the other agents then acting reflexively upon hearing the shot.
