When you're live, your Bluesky profile photo links people straight to wherever you're streaming. No extra steps required.

Going live soon? Give it a try: click the "..." button on your profile and choose "Go live." Let us know what live platforms you'd like to see added next!

I have a little blue notification dot on the "..." button. Is there a way to make it go away? It's been annoying me for quite a while.

Easy way of helping with this problem would be to add an optional configurable delay after hitting "Post", before the post is published, during which time it remains editable. After the timed interval it posts automatically. Most of the time I notice an error right after I click Post. "Doh!" time.

I appreciate this update! I would like to ask if there's any ideas floating around for making a platform similar to YouTube? I know it's a stretch, but I think this platform would be great for competition!

I'd like to once again ask that you revert the policy of labelling WHOLE ACCOUNTS as adult content. It's extremely impractical and a huge headache.

Should we suggest NSFW allowed plateform or will you be prude about that too and mess up with this community even more? And no for fuck sake, not proposing to broadcast pr0n, but adult games and assets creation for mature audience game >:( Such as Picarto.

I think it would be great if picarto.tv and piczel.tv were added next. Other features that would go *a long* way in supporting artists on your platform include media in DMs (helps to not need to give out your Discord to *every* commission client) and outline tags (VASTLY-underrated feature!)

I want to emphasize that outline tags could be a lot bigger than they might seem. Right now tagging your posts feels like Twitter, which apparently now *discourages* tagging? If and when outline tagging is implemented, tagging will feel a lot more like tumblr - which has an EXCELLENT tagging culture

Would love to get added to the list! 😊

Would love it if you hook me up? 😊 My site/service is BlueHarbor.at Would love it if we could be added to the list of providers. We are fully using the protocol with lexicon and PDS.

Cool, I suppose... but perhaps can we have our convenient buttons for saving/sharing images back, instead of pointlessly shoving them in a three dot menu up in the corner?

It’s about live-streaming, and being able to signal on you Bsky profile you are “live” somewhere. Afik, Ghost doesn’t do any kind of streaming, so this feature wouldn’t be applicable to it.

This feature helps people who are broadcasting live video let their Bluesky followers easily click through to watch that video stream. YouTube, Twitch, etc. are platforms that you can stream live video from. But I'm not sure Ghost has live video streaming (but let me know if it does).

Is there a way for Bluesky to see when we go live on YouTube instead of having to put in a different stream URL every time?

This is a massive upgrade for the creator economy. Seamless live integration makes sharing development sessions and real-time market deep dives much easier. Definitely a step forward for the platform - looking forward to testing this for my upcoming bot performance streams. 🤖📈

Off topic but you guys seriously need to fix your auto-mod thing. Not only can we already choose to self-moderate what we can and cant see ourselves, but you guys are basically shadow-banning accounts who didn't do ANYTHING wrong because of the AI mistaking one thing or another. That's not cool.

I don't get why Bluesky even adds *anything* given that users have the convenient, fun option of forking social-app and building their own client with all the extra features they want.

And X? I have an avatar? A stream link? Isn't this the sort of AI enhancement we all dread? It's why we went to BlueSky!

Presumably the URL for the livestream. For example, on Twitch, the URL for a channel's livestream is always the same (twitch dot tv slash username), even though it's always different on YouTube.

Can you please stop marking as unappropriate and hiding comments with a slightly bad words like "sh!t", "a$$", "butt" and similar? You are destroying a conversations like that and after a while, people are losing interest in engaging with each other!

i go live on twitch most days of the week for varying lengths of time (pls allow more than 4 hours), and it would be nice to be able to set a default link in this feature, if not a full integration of twitch's API to automatically show when we're live (which is something that ko-fi can already do)

Can we have an option to notify me as a follower if someone goes live (push notification on mobile devices an browser)? That would be a nice feature.
