a campaign tactic designed to elicit an emotional response, rather than a reflection of an actual policy debate happening in American legislatures.

You fucking hacks. If I go to a Trump event and demand that he disavow al-Qaeda, are you going print a story the next day saying that al-Qaeda has become a 'flashpoint' in Trump's campaign? Fuck off forever. You should be ashamed to call yourselves journalists.

So, CNN has decided to do the bidding of those racist attackers and make the Muslim Brotherhood and a possible affiliation the topic. What I take away is: El-Sayed proves a stern defender of the Constitution while his attackers do not.

A republican plant makes some shit up and poof, now it's a "flashpoint" that needs to be both-sides. Embarrassing framing from CNN.

It’s not a flashpoint. It’s only in the news because you insist on covering bogus smears made by Republicans against El-Sayed.

That the world was made up of this Brotherhood of man For whatever that means And so I cry somethimes when I'm lying in bed Just to get it all out what's in my head And I'm, I am feeling a little peculiar So I wake in the morning and I step outside And I take deep breath and I get real high

What a ridiculous headline. There is no Muslim Brotherhood issue. What there is, CNN, is Republucans using Islamophobic scare tactics. Your job is to report that.

He's not wrong... fact... Republicans do not have a candidate that can honestly out wit El-Sayed... the guy is composed... so they are trying smeartactics. They rather lie and make stuff up. And be racist and spread fear.

I remember when CNN was a new kid on the block They challenged the guano lies, deceptive and devotions of main stream media Full circle, they now post this weak nonsense of a story to disguise racism as valid debate It's all about the money, in USA it's always about the money

An attempt by a Republican operative to promote a bigoted smear against Abdul El-Sayed, Michigan’s Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, has backfired spectacularly and is now further highlighting GOP fears of losing control in Washington. www.dailykos.com/stories/2026...

Translation: Because they have a weak, corrupt candidate and Dr. El Sayed is a strong candidate promoting popular policies, Republicans are trying to make the Muslim Brotherhood a flashpoint in Michigan's Senate to incite anti Muslum hate and fear.

See CNN could say that republican’s accusation of Abdul being a part of the Muslim brotherhood is false and he’s disavowed any association but they want to keep this bullshit going

In all fairness to CNN, it's really hard to see out of those klan hoods, so it must've been hard to see how stupid they look getting basic facts wrong.

The Muslim Brotherhood isn't a "flashpoint"... ...it's a badly framed #strawman argument that El Sayed gracefully avoided... ...before rhetorically wiping the floor with "Tommy." Get it correct, @cnn.com
