If you’re gonna sacrifice a car, just park two sideways in the street at either end of the block so the ICE vehicles are stuck there until your cars get towed.

If possible take a photo of their VIN through the windshield. If those don't match, call a tow truck and list it as a possible stolen vehicle.

If the plates aren’t registered to a vehicle but has this year’s sticker (I say sticker but not sure if all US states do that still), then it’s not because it’s a fresh plate from the DMV. Police can get them from their impound lot and remove the prior registration. They’ve done that since… forever.

Illegal! False plates is a felony in most states!!
