Amazing.

Looks like inspiration for an alien species to write about.

I bought this at Home Depot a few months ago- very soothing. www.homedepot.com/p/9-in-Black...

@subnautica.bsky.social devs definitely saw this.

That is one amazing jellyfish.

I would like to be a jellyfish the next time out. that seems like a pretty chill one

I wonder if those tentacles sting.

looks like the infamous "hairy eyeball"

Beautiful!

Those do not have brains, but they look like fireworks 🎆.

Oh yes, you really do!😳 Beautiful!

indeed!

Look gorgeous

This should be named after Dolly Parton.

Ocean's breath

A veces necesitabas ver una medusa luminiscente, al menos durante unos segundos, y no lo sabías.

"Look" being the operative word. ;)

That's a straight up eyeball alien, you can't fool me

Thank you. Much needed indeed!

yes, I put it in the alt text. hallitrephes maasi.

This looks like a Pink Floyd/Boston mashup!

Fuuuuuuck they’re such extraordinary creatures

I wanna gently pat the top with my hand just one time

Miraculous.

My wife puts on Jelly Cam for her students, and they zone out on the beauties. www.montereybayaquarium.org/cams-videos/...

Beautiful

This reminded me I had a jellyfish skeet in my drafts. Thank you.

Our focus group says this is a boss from a Kirby game.

We need to fill our selves up with good things on a daily basis as a necessary balance. Thanks for the post. It’s spectacular!💙

I didn't even know that's what I needed but turns out I did. Thank you

What that must feel like...

Yes, jellyfish are beautiful.

It's wild how much it looks like a passionflower. pixabay.com/photos/passi...

@averygoodyear.bsky.social i dare you to touch it

Where depictions of "biblically accurate angels" come from. 😉 thanks for posting, absolutely beautiful.

That’s a fucked up jelly bro.

They're nice to see and they look elegant when they swim. I don't want to wear one as a hat

I used to stand before the tanks (cleverly used as columns in SeaWorld) for the entire time my family looked at everything else. The Moon jellies were mesmerizing!

They're aliens 🤯

I think it is #AI , a jelly fish like that is supposed to have 58 oral arms, I count 59 🤪

Stunning.

I fully fuckin agree

Beautiful!

Alien Beautiful

indeed.

So beautiful.

We have the most amazing variety of life here on our planet. I can't imagine any extraterrestrial alien life form could be any stranger or more wonderful.

And the jellyfish looks back

Kinda looks like it is looking back 🙂

or evolution, whatevs

Thank you so much for sharing this wow cubed video!

Thats my eyeball when ive seen to much shit!

I believe in aliens I just saw one

Nature has been around a lot longer than you. I don't know the answer to your question but many underwater animals are colored and many are phosphorescent. it was filmed with an underwater cam from an aquarium in Baja California.

Skin pigmentation probably has more utilities than just visibility. The lack of light probably also means there not as much of a downside to being colorful.

Thx! 🙂

Now THAT I could cope with watching for 4 years. Can we swap the blob we have and make the jellyfish President of The United States?

No thanks, I've been tricked into riding a Gravitron before

What a beautiful world we are messing up!

Wow! My eyes just exploded!

And for one brief moment, the jellyfish looks back.

sea jellies are so neat

Floating in infinite freedom. Please forgive me for feeling envious of what this represents.

This thing is magical.

Nature is magnificent -

Where was this monster so I can avoid the planet? Just kidding but amazing creature.

Please, I’m trying to get over the Texas HS after the game with less fans and less energy

wish everyone agreed with you. (I do ofc)

Same vibe except yours is real

it's real

Hendrix commented about floatin round like a jelly fish

I guess you could say these may be the 1st aliens to inhabit earth & decided to stay or they are just beautiful jellyfish! 🪼💙

This guy is fancy as hell!

Totally alien 👀👀👀

Checked and I think it was the Vree ships from B5 that I was specifically thinking of.

The naked eye stings

Isn’t that amazing!

What is the Republican party going to say about this disco jelly?

Aliens are among us! I’ve never seen Sci-fi describe alien life stranger than this jellyfish.

thats not a jellyfish thats a party

Well, they ARE very cool!

Wow, the colours are amazing. What a view!

I do.

Incredible.

Jellyfish is such a simple name for a microverse of organisms working together to appear as one creature, isn’t it? 🪼

Awesome

down.blue

And may there always be jellyfish to look at in this world!!!!

Not "sometimes"

Doesn’t really NEED a Centralized Nervous System? To be Beautiful… OR Dangerous.

🎯

I was gonna say it looks like something big lost an eye.

Nice!

Or at least this jelly.

Man evolution is wild. So cool looking

I thought that was a hairy eyeball at first.

CERN has been at it again. 🤦‍♀️

Wow

Thank you!! 😊😊

WOW!

Well said

YES!

Reminds me of several screens behind the Fillmore stage when Josh White & crew were doing the light shows in the 60s & 70s.

@earational.bsky.social 🪼

thank you good person.

You know what's stupid? Saying shit like that without doing any research about it at all. Congrats for showing your a$$ on the internet today. Now go touch some grass

IT'S NOT GODDAMN AI. I DON'T DO THAT.

Amazing! If this were a machine they'd be like where are they hiding the engine?

They are kind of magical, aren’t they?

HA!
