I was signed up for Truth Social just to see what it was all about, I suspect millions of others did the same including journalists worldwide. I have since closed my account because it is just fantasy cult trash.

A fair number of those users are journalists and social media commentators who have to be there to report on what our idiot president is posting.

If the corporate media types would walk away he'd be left with nothing but Russian bots and basement dwelling choads.

These are really weak numbers in a country of 350MM people. Imagine if no-one re-posted his tweets onto other platforms or reported on their contents. He would die for lack of oxygen.

If the press stopped hanging on his every post, the platform would be overtaken by tumbleweeds. I'm relying more on the occasional screenshot than going there myself.

I just drove through Oklahoma - the most pro Trump state there is - and for the first time since 2016 I didn't see a single pro Trump sign, sticker or hat. Not one. I do not own a de Lorean and I'm pretty sure I didn't jump timelines.

DJT, Trump media stock is at $7.22 it was made public using a SPAC that's basically a guarantor for the stock at $10 and that's what SPACs open at. So really at $7.22 the stock has gone negative and still way overpriced

He talks to himself but the media amplifies every idiotic word he posts or says...if the media would just learn to IGNORE his media posts and focus on just his official statements, we would all be healthier.

describing 420k to 260k as "more than 30 percent" is a weird flex; yeah, 38% is technically "more than 30 percent", but it would be more honest to round it to "almost 40 percent"

That is because trump is sooo boring and repeats the same lies over and over. Probably a lot of the "users" were bots.

Possible causes for this: 1. Because the platform is neither truthful nor social 2. Because Everything Trump Touches Dies (ETTD). Trump bankrupted 4(!) casinos. That's not easy to do. At some point ya gotta own that he he is an imbecilic, shambling, incoherent, psycopathic recipe for failure.

No, but he should have self-imposed a character limit. Few are interested in reading through his lengthy rambling, all-caps (or close to it) diatribes.

Viewership of many television shows dropped off quite steeply a year or two before cancellation. Central to Trump’s political appeal has always been his entertainment value. But his act is now into its second decade, and his audience has gotten bored.

Since it was last month and the bombings are recent, I’m assuming not. I was actually wondering what the numbers are now since the bombings. No knowledge here. Just how I’m interpreting it.

How many are bots? There are probably like 12 actual people (who are not journalists obliged to cover his ramblings) there

Everyone likes to rag on how insignificant Bluesky is compared to the big platforms, but that stat means TS is only a FORTIETH the size of Bluesky.
