it's really funny when someone kool-aid-mans onto a website dominated by neurodivergent people, and completely fails to notice that they are not, fact, the only neurodivergent person in the conversation lol

on bluesky i operate under the default assumption that everyone on here is neurodivergent with a few fascinatingly rare exceptions

i'm 41. "gifted" growing up, spent my teens-20s tripping out WAY more often than somebody should, in my 30s basically gave that up and became a functioning alcoholic. i would by no means call myself "neurodivergent," but am definitely not a "normie." bluesky is way more my vibe than its competitors.

Oh, I did do TikTok for a time, but only if they included subtitles. I won’t watch anything without them. Even the computer generated, sometimes hilariously wrong ones are better than none. HoH as well as weird (or undiagnosed neurodivergent. Both my (adult) kid and I are convinced we’re AuDHD)

the average nurse is not on BlueSky but scrolling TikTok and buying some Instagram essential oils and on balance they are probably better off

I long for the collapse of social media so we can go back to PHP boards
