like, this is overly simplistic, but my bluesky feed is/interactions are largely with people with whom i could probably have at least a short conversation IRL over lunch or at the park...

Sean (the adult child) is diagnosed Autistic though, as is half my family at this point. My niece is AuDHD. The most typically autistic of us is waiting for an ADHD assessment though.

My alg on tiktok was fully nerodivergent for the longest time. Probably still is but less overtly so.

I don't think just thinking that (and having a hard time paying attention due to it) is being a jerk; you can't help your own reactions. It would only be if you stood up and said "you suck at speaking!" Anyway the fact that I immediately thought to make this probably makes me the asshole.
