I want my Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase remaster yesterday!

I feel like this existed as promotion for Shrek 5, back when it was supposed to release this year because they didn’t want to make a brand new game. But then the movie got delayed and the game progressed smoothly enough

Shrek 2 is to Xbox what Rabbids Land was to Wii U. If you've got nothing else in your launch library someone will eventually be nostalgic for it

That one warrants a full remake; Shrek 2 The Game is at least functional on a basic level.

I mean for historical value, it was the first game to use deferred rendering

its a free country (kinda? unclear at this point) so go ahead

And as Someone who's played both Shrek 2 (Luxoflux) AND some of Shrek Extra Large, I respectfully disagree! I'm sorry, but it 100% makes sense why They chose Shrek 2 (Luxoflux) over It, because at least Shrek 2 (Luxoflux) feels more like an Actual Shrek Game & also, it's just a Much Better Game!

I mean I am. Sure wouldn't buy it again but I'd consider emulating it and maybe doing a full playthrough lol

Me

Loved this game. Gingerbread Man's moveset was great. idk if it was good and I'm not gonna buy a remake though

They're running out of things to repackage at this point, lincensed games, Hell, even literal kusoge collections 🤨

I'm nostalgic for the times I spent playing it with friends and family. The game itself? Eh.

Right? Like, if it was a collection of 1-3 (or a simultaneous release) then sure, why not? I dont think i have ever even seen mention of this game in passing.

been leaked since february I think. groening kinda confirmed it at d23 but was promptly reminded he was under nda like a second later lmao

Me but only in a way that makes me go “oh yeah I never beat this game, I should turn on the copy I already have”

Buddy, if You wanted to make a Proper Jab to Globs of Doom, you could've said, "the Wii Game that has a Glitch that corrupts Your Save File by just saving in the Hub World"! The Roster having mostly Cancelled Shows isn't even unique to Globs of Doom as far as Nick Crossover Games are consider...

It's not even the janky PC game?? I do enjoy in hindsight realizing how many random tie-ins and other games on PC were shit thrown together in UE2. Fuck, were people importing hogwarts into Unreal tournament?

wake me up when they do shrek super slam

Me but specifically the GBA version.

Cboyaredee, aka The Shrek Comedian

According to dubious sources, the guy in charge of Aspyr had a big PS2 collection before he lost it in a fir, and now uses their company to port his old favorites to new hardware.

ME i played it on ps2 :3

Me kinda

i think it’s more for people nostalgic for Shrek 2. it’s working off of the usual licensed game playbook, except it’s catering to late 20-year-olds and not little kids.

i seem to remember this being actually really well-liked when the ps2/xbox gen was relevant? like shrek 2 came up pretty often next to stuff like battle for bikini bottom in "non-shitty licensed games of the gen" discussions.

why are we shit talking a perfectly good game for 29 bux in 2026 sad

MinnMax fans!

am i remebering correctly that this game for some reason had absolutely ridiculous sales? maybe producers for some reason think that's replicable?

me

They should have remade Shrek Super Slam, that game was something else.

I am, but the PC one so this does nothing for me.

unfortunately me

You're right, it should've been Shrek Super Slam.

If it were the Curse of the Were-Rabbit game i'd be all over it.

Seems that was shrek the third. I must hand over my videogame credibility card now

Finally, a game brave enough to come out a week before GTA 6

... *Shyly raises my paw*

should have been the Shrek 1 Xbox game smh

Marvelous~

probably someBODY

honestly? it's me. but if i wanted to play it again i would just emulate it i'm not going to spend 30 dollars on it lmao

They picked this, instead of the Smash clone everyone likes

What about two seconds adding it to pcsx2 for free nostalgic

HELL YES FINALLY. This was so fucking cool as a kid. A 4 player beat em up. Perfect for 3 friends coming over.

all the licenced games i played as a kid, i'm only "play for 30 minutes in an emulator and then never touch it again" nostalgic for. who asked for this
