Really is amazing to look at these guys and know that they honestly believe they represent the pinnacle of human evolution

that's probably exactly why, though. if you have the sense that you're at the lower end of some group, you have a perverse incentive to find another group to call out as categorically worse than yours, so that everyone knows you're still better than /someone/

They look like the enemies you encounter in your first session of a beginner DnD module. They're like a sweaty hydra Homeschool-munculus They look like they suffer flashbacks when walking past a locker. Cover your drinks, ladies the new alphas have entered the room.

They're like vampires if you kept all the debilitations (sun sensitivity, anemia, inability to eat garlicky foods, and insomnia) but retained none of the cool stuff (sexual allure, immortality, and dominating charisma).

They would say that, but deep down they know they aren't. If you truly think you're superior you don't demand fascism, you demande competition to show it. Magnus Carlsen doesn't ask for his opponents to start every game without their queen.

Humans became the dominant species by having empathy for each other and protecting the group, and being great hunters. You can just look at these guys and tell they're extremely empathetic athletes, incredible survivalists, and not Habsburg genetic disasters being kept alive by the herd.
