Saw a supposed christian talking about "those who work get fed" as though foodstamps hurt anyone. Taking comments like "im retired and what about the children" i tossed a "where in the bible is that" for claiming. Really, Claim Christian? 🤨 preach 🤨

Schulz was struggling with his racism at the time and still learning how to be a good citizen. He shouldn't be expected to explain it very well. It's simple: Being a good citizen means caring about the welfare of one's neighbors, and helping one's community to be a better place for everyone.

Aside from the obvious, Schulz is almost certainly thinking too of his own group: Secular Humanists, so targeted by Christians. The nonreligious are by far our most politically unrepresented sizeable minority at 10-20%. Almost no elected officials. Largely unable to run openly. His 1976 Peanuts!
