I’ve reached the stage where socks on top of socks is simply practical, depending on how my feet swell thoughout the day. They often don’t match. That’s not a style choice.

A while back, the trend was layering tank tops one over the other. Why would you want a hot-weather top to feel extra sweaty? Because capitalists will profit when fashion convinces us to buy more and more layers. Each layer, another item, another expense to put on our interest-charging credit cards.

Only layered when it is below zero out. Now in too hot Charleston area when it is 99 and need a sun shade shirt to protect from sun.

The only person who could ever remotely pull off this look was Chow Yun Fat in CITY ON FIRE, and fellas, we ain't him.
