Let's turn our rage on the 7 Dems who voted for it rather than ALL BUT ONE Republican who did the same. And then wonder why we are the minority party in both houses while Trump enjoys support from less than a third of the country's voters. .

Yes. It’s natural to react differently to a villain doing villain things than one reacts to an alleged hero doing villain things. We already are mad at the Republicans. They already have the ire. It’s the alleged good guys now who need to be held accountable for their villain actions equally.

As I've been saying all along, they all are owned. Democrats & republicans are two sides of the same counterfeit coin. They supported Trump invasion of DC, and have several times voted to stop his impeachments. We need a whole new government to replace this lawless regime.

If I was in Congress and I was a Democrat I would make a big deal about firing my stats person. It's the 9th inning. F*ck the polls and grow some balls. Whew.....glad I got that off my chest. I get it, I know how the sausage gets made. It's easy to shoot my mouth off. But fuck these guys.

I'm a few districts north of her but it is bananas that Perez still gets to call herself a Democrat and they just keep passing her money as she votes exactly like any other Republican

We need to make sure these reps are called on the carpet after every ICE horror. Make them watch videos of it in a public forum and justify this vote to their constituents. We need to let them have no doubt that when ICE spills blood going forward we put the blame on them.

These 7 disgust me. I hope better Liberals in their districts challenge them for their seats. After all the terrorism, violence, targeting of children & unnecessary cruelty, that any could vote to continue funding them makes me feel sick to my stomach. No wonder so many are fed up with the Dems.

ah my fave, Henry Cuellar, for whom Nanci Pelosi pulled out all the stops to make sure he beat Cisneros, his amazing/progressive Dem challenger... just keeps coming through!

There is a VERY LONG LIST of things that need to get done this year, both flipping GOP stuff and ousting certain shitty Dems. WE can't get everything on the list, so ordered priorities is important. Unfortunately, tossing Cuellar probably has to be one of the LOWEST things on that list.

I'd argue that a MUCH higher priority is ousting a 10+ "meh" Dems in very safe D areas; replace low-energy nobodies with progressive warriors. That would have a MUCH bigger impact than ousting Cuellar, and w/o any of the downsides.

Two Long Island, NY Dems. We worked our butts off to get Suozzi back in that seat and he pays us back with this crappy vote. Elect better Democrats. There won't be much point in NY redistricting if the Dems elected vote like GOP members.

i’m in his district and not only sent an email about this, i called his DC office & said this was my line in the sand. i am looking forward to supporting whomever primaries him. i regret having supported him & his bipartisan mantra.

My mom is in his district. While she is 98 she remains feisty. I'm sure he'll hear from her and I'd be shocked if she ever donates to his campaign again. I sure won't.

Nothing special about 7 in this case, fwiw. The bill passed 220-207, so it would only fail (213-214) if there were zero traitors... except that there were also 4 GOP reps not present, so Johnson would have just delayed the vote long enough for 2 more of them to show up.

The polling is in their favor to vote against this bill, it’s an election year, and the bill would’ve passed anyway so voting “no” wouldn’t have hurt them in the eyes of their actual constituents (their donors).
