I do feel bad for those kids: raised by nutcases, and now they're suddenly down a parent. They likely have no understanding of what's going on and are probably very scared. Unlike the parents, they didn't ask for this, but they're the ones who get to be burdened with lifelong trauma.

Many times when Trump lies or says something stupid, the press has tries to sanewash it into something more palatable. With this, I think every single interviewer/reporter was genuinely too stupid themselves to not understand there were never 20 million undocumented immigrants in the first place.
