What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than by getting a bunch of my novels, with a big chunk of your purchase price going to World Central Kitchen, my selected charity for this bundle. Pay what you like (the more you pay, the more you get), and help feed people in need all over the world.

Not available in the UK, but I suppose there’s nothing you can do to influence that? Another Brexit ‘advantage’, I presume 🙄

I appreciate the opportunity to 1) get e-versions of 18 of the Scalzi books I currently own and another 4 I haven't read, and 2) to donate a bit more to one of the best-run philanthropies, WCK. Thanks for being a snarky-AND-decent human being, John.

Just finished When The Moon Hits Your Eye, including the afterword, and enjoyed it immensely. But despite your disclaimers at the end I choose to hold on to my belief that your Brie-f*%#ing politician was based on Mike Crapo. Also would have loved another appearance from the Smyrna four.

You can in fact adjust the level of donation so more goes to them, it's right there on the page, where it says "adjust donation," go ahead and try it

I have them all, but I sent the link to friends. Good stuff! I've donated to WCK directly in the past. I should do that again. Someone always needs to be fed.

(Addendum: Available in the US, don't know about the rest of the world, there may be rights issues, etc. Entirely unrelated: VPNs are neat. Also, World Central Kitchen is my selected charity, but 100% of my own cut is going to @scalzifamily.foundation, which funds various local and artistic stuff.)

Just bought it in Austria, so it seems to be at least available in parts of Europe. I wasn't using a VPN. Also I may have put the slider for the charity further up, hope that's okay to you :)

Out of curiosity, what local things do you fund? Whatever it is, good on ya for doing it. Small local organizations nearly always struggle for funding.

I've had people test VPNs with US-only bundles before (specifically a Discworld one) and it will block you there as well because it verifies by the address of the payment method. Unless you have a VPN and an American-based bank account or credit card, it won't work.

Sadly, Humble sending an email out tends to be a poor indicator of regional availability. I'm in the UK, and clicking the link just gets "Promotion Unavailable".

I put the donation/purchase to $50.00 and it told me that $2.50 would go to WCK, so either I'm doing something wrong here, or I'm really missing something. Did I do something incorrectly here?

If you want to give more to WCK, I'd really recommend donating directly as there is no way around the 30% to humblebundle.

Thanks! I will go look for that. There are so many sliders and boxes to type in values, etc., that I probably gave up too quickly. I will go back and look more carefully, thanks again, that makes sense, I recall Humble Bundles having that feature, but I haven't got one in many years.

If you go to "Adjust Donation", there will be three to four sliders that show how much money will go to Humble Bundle, the Publisher (whether book or video game), the Charity, and if you clicked on an affiliate link, the affiliate. Humble's the only one with a minimum.
