They didn’t acquire their vast wealth through altruism or caring about making the world a safer place. Everything they do is about personal profits & the acquisition of power. They don’t care about people or who they hurt in order to avoid paying taxes or taking responsibility for their actions.

I'm not sure such a generalisation is justified. Some would like to be a force for good. Most, I'd hazard, would be supportive of higher taxes for the mega rich. It's the selfish, entitled, and greedy ones we tend to see, and we then tar them all with the same brush.
