Once again for the really stupid and evil disinformation agents, the hydrogen peroxide was never in concentrations high enough to damage any paint. The paint delaminated due to poor surface preparation and faulty application.

I don’t believe the reflecting pool was painted and was a vinyl coating that either was not allowed to set properly or it was just a bad idea to begin with. I had an in ground concrete pool forv20 years and the coating was a sprayed on plaster that held up very well.

This isn't entirely correct. The pool "repair" cost $13 million not $20. (Their work had BETTER be warrantied!!) The chemicals dumped into the pool didn't cause the paint to peel....it would require an ENORMOUS amount to do that. It's clear they didn't properly prepare the surface before painting.
