There are and always will be a small number of adverse effects, that is the human chemistry being slightly different for everyone. But, the mass benefits out weigh few tragic events.

My sister had Guillain–Barré syndrome & could not get vaccinated. She relied on old infection control measures like I & others used to survive all of 2020 before the COVID vaccine. 'Herd Immunity' Is what some ppl must rely on to avoid infection, meaning the majority of ppl getting vaccinated.

Hey, but they're talking about raw milk and started a cooking show. Once, a Mongolian rock band started a cooking show. It was way better than RFK Jrs cooking show. They even didn't dress up pretentiously in blue aprons.

I wish they had the Rubella vaccine in the mid 1960s when I was born. I would not had a week in hospital east of Toronto before Christmas at age 5. I got the Measles, Mumps AND RUBELLA vaccine in school at age 10. It was too late to prevent partial hearing loss and a mild speech impediment at age 59

I looked up who wrote that crap. That account doesn't exist. Sounds like a one and dine. Any more questions about alt_ali_eltatawy legitimacy?

We also learned about bullshit and religious propaganda, We also learned that the Vac's saved lives. We also learned that not every vac, helps every person. So those like RFK.Jr. can eat mushrooms if they like!, and do real healthy things like snort Coke off a toilet seat. Republicans make me sick

This is literally the story of my best friend of 30+ years. He started his first job out of med school in March 2020. He went on to care for thousands of COVID patients over the next several years. Of those who ended up in ICU, the overwhelming majority were not vaccinated and most died.

In maybe one percent of car accidents, probably less, wearing a seatbelt is a disadvantage. Maybe if you plunge into a lake or something. In the other 99%? Seatbelts are *extremely* effective in preventing injury and death. So, you always buckle your seatbelt. Because you're not an idiot.

I got Covid the first time and was sick for 4 months. Got the vaccines and got it 2more times. I was over it in 4 days. Thank you vaccines.

it pisses ppl off bc like 14.9 million died. the politics are just fleas latching on. you might get the political card pulled on you less often if you dug at pharma's plethora of faults separate from adverse reactions, bc adverse reactions to medicines are common and usually mean to change formula.

Adverse reactions are less from vaccine design errors and more from biological differentiation Everybody’s biology is different, everybody’s mileage will vary We know how the process is supposed to work, but some parts for some people work at 80% here and 120% there and in one person, it goes boom

For those who claim vaccines cause autism the Military has given millions of servicemen vaccines all at once regardless of their medical history when they enter boot camp. Not a single recorded case of Autism developed as a result in over 60 years and millions of servicemen.

Jesus Christ Michelle...way to bury the fucking lead. I already hate so many people that I was just thinking where an I gonna put this one? Almost out of space...but then at the last second...you're human!!! Yay!!!

Did you learn about the chemicals (gentamicin, thimerisol, aluminum, cortisol to name a few) they add to vaccines, that disrupt the metabolic and immune systems, thereby putting millions at risk for chronic diseases? Did you learn that the CDC and FDA have never tested these chemicals for safety?

Extensive research on thimerosol: "is safe, breaks down rapidly in the body, and is not linked to autism or other long-term neurological damage" The risks of infection far outweigh the well studied risks of vaccination in individuals. That post is willfully and factually wrong.

Sure about that? I'm actually in favor of vaccinations because the earlier vaccine processes were cleaner and physiologically sound. What i oppose are: dirty vaccines-multiple additives that have not been safety tested and labeling a biologic-gene altering substance a vaccine (mrna covid shots).

Earlier vaccines were little understood when developed. There was far less knowledge of biological science when the bulk of them were developed and back then it relied on guess work without understanding mechanism.

No. The RNA vaccine triggers the human body to produce virus spike proteins, damage blood vessel liners The vaccination does not prevent infection (yeah, reduces bad outcome...does it?) and does not prevent transmission. For sure everyone already got in touch with COVID, karma. Vaccination is choice

It is the actual virus that damages blood vessels. The spike protein generated by the mRNA virus does not damage blood vessels but it does train the immune system to attack the actual virus.

So, it is not about Pro or Anti vaccination BUT what kind of vaccination! This list in childhood is recommended

I have a daughter who suffered neurological damage due to a vaccine reaction. And I'm still pro-vaccine. So many children were lost a couple generations ago due to what are now preventable diseases. Vaccinations are the way to go.

In 2021 I volunteered at a mass vax site (State Farm Stadium!) at 4am because my age group didn't yet qualify but they vaccinated all the volunteers. Now all you have to do is walk into a CVS & boom, you don't have to die of Covid or infect anyone who might! So simple my cousin could do it.

Just got my flu, COVID, and pneumonia vaccines... Spent the rest of the day trying to will the Bill Gates nanobots to change the tv channels for me... Didn't work, but I did fart from the effort... 😂

I’m pro vaccine. I just wish they’d clean up the vaccines. Don’t add additives, or other shit we should have injected into our body. Pharmaceutical Co can do this.

Slightly concerning that a professional medic, who you'd presume has studied a lot of science just to get into that line of work, only then learns about the history of vaccinations? No criticism of the medics at all. This is a comment about the education system that produced such a person.

Maybe once he is out of office. Being in the executive administration gives you at the very least temporary impunity to commit all types of crimes with permanent immunity with a presidential pardon. What a fkd up system.

I was around for the sugar cube polio vaccines, my parents were pro vaccinations. I got the normal childhood illnesses. Flu, measles, mumps. When I was a baby there wasn't any vaccination to take care of those things. The covid-19 vaccination saved my life, people my age were dying left & right.💉😷

There's got to be a Venn diagram covering those people and those who cry "The Apocalypse is nigh - by the end of this year the world will end. Repent. Atone!" And then say the exact same thing the following year, and the next...

I got Covid BAD twice then the vaccine came out I got it and did not get Covid again UNTIL it wore off then I got it immediately again and got another Vaccine & have been good since I also do not have polio and am not in a wheelchair BECAUSE OF VACCINES

I’ve had Covid 5 times, once before vaccination, 4 times after. (I work food retail) First time, ill for 3 weeks, temp spikes to 104°, took two months to recover. The 4 times since: sick each time 6-8 days, recovery within three weeks. Vaccination makes it far more likely to get over it quickly.

I work as a substitute in schools so see many kids each day & go to different schools daily, 75 yo, neuromuscular disease and have gotten many vaccinations for COVID & have never had it! I believe in vaccines!

There's a reasonable chance you still have it. Covid is contagious below the level that causes noticeable symptoms. Lots of people technically are infected who feel fine. The vaccines keeps people from getting sick. That's precisely what it was intended to do.

I used to think everyone got vaccinated because it was The Thing To Do. But now I seriously question the folks who turn their nose up at a miracle drug that prevents death & disease because of some imaginary side effects. Especially if the same folks do things like smoke cigarettes.

There's a cultural flaw that, while not unique to the USA, is definitely strongest here. Here, "democracy" means "the videos I watch on YouTube and NewsMax are equal to your decade of post-graduate studies and peer-reviewed work. It's anti-elitism taken to a comic and literally suicidal extreme.

Yes…..but here in the US people like JD, Trump, Dr. Ben Carson, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz (the list goes on and on) ALL HAVE ADVANCED DEGREES! So, our universities created this problem. They gave masters and doctorates to wackos and idiots and now whine that people don’t respect people with advanced degrees!

I don’t think so. I am not saying all University advance degrees are questionable because of well known idiots that have them. I am saying having so many people put into positions using the simple fact they have that degree qualifies them for the position (even if it is outside their field of study)

Not blaming them for their immorality, it is their general lack of knowledge that bothers me. Vance’s explanation of socialism was embarrassing for a high school graduate let alone a JD. Oz & Carson are both surprisingly uninformed but have medical degrees. Trump (only a BS) is just stupid

A consistent authentic talent among them is gaming the system. But yes, for all of its resources and "self-policing", the Establishment dropped the ball spectacularly. A lasting and possibly irreversible consequence is loss of faith in authority, even academic authority.

As a Brit I would like nothing more than to lay the entirety of this at the feet of the USA. However I do believe that the stupid MFer at the start of all this antivax bollocks was a Brit 😔

One enduring UK/US schism that I find fascinating is how US bullshit has fully exiled any sophistication. Reform still makes token references to opera and "high culture." Here, even generational DC aristocrats still feel obligated to campaign from stages surreally adorned with barns and hay bales.

I guess a national standard of general competence would be good. Or more a journeyman approach where you have to prove competence instead of only passing an exam. I know, many areas have this (including medicine-so Dr. Carson is an example of how you can be “smart” in one area & lack intelligence)

Of course not, but somehow someone saying they have a MD in Neurology made them qualified to be director of Housing & Urban Development in the US federal government. People have falsely made having an an advanced degree the equivalent to being broadly intelligent, wise and principled—-which it’s not

Trump has an undergrad degree in economics, with a concentration in real estate, from UPenn Wharton, 1968. He graduated in the bottom of his class. Dr. Phil McGraw is not a medical doctor. He has a PhD in Psychology from the U. of Northern Texas. He has not been licensed to practice since 2006.

JD Vance graduated Yale Law but was a neither President, nor a general editor, nor board editor of the Yale Law Journal with top leadership responsibilities (as he implies); he was a staff editor (often described as a general or standard editor) whose role primarily involved checking citations.

A degree isn’t certification that someone has advanced knowledge in all areas, or that someone has good sense or enough ethics to avoid pushing snake oil for profit. It’s just proof of completing one area of study. 1/

Exactly. And this is the problem we have right now. Too many people mistake any degree as proof of expertise in any area. The internet is full of it (see: chemtrails, global warming). Conversely there is a lack of trust in real experts (see: climate change, vaccines or communicable diseases).

So many moronic anti-vaxxers in the comments admirably demonstrating how little they understand anything at all about vaccines, science, or medicine.

Covid was merely fatal for the already weak and people with underlying diseases. Vaccination did perhaps something.

Covid triggered a lot of copd type of disease, the amount of patiënts which are prone to long term effects are merely Indian descendents and other ones who are susceptable for diabetes.

You have more than likely been paid to post shit like this. • Vaccine-Specific Campaigns: Individual major manufacturers (such as Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson) have periodically deployed targeted digital and influencer campaigns for specific rollouts—such as COVID-19

Your whole account appears to be nothing more than screenshots of other people’s content. Are you even a real person? I guess it doesn’t matter. I’m muting you.

I'm a scientist, and I know how vaccines were 1st discovered, how they are made, the safety testing done. Vaccines are safe for the majority of people and save lives.

We have gone from 10 plus children because most died, to most surviving. I'm the oldest survivor of 6, in my 60s, my two older sisters died from Covid, one 7 years older, the other 28 because they didn't get the covid vaccine in time. One died a week before the vaccine offer came through

I admit I am nostalgic for my youth in the 1960s. The vast majority of the public understood that vaccines were a modern scientific miracle. My father remembered losing his little sister and his father to illnesses that vaccines later prevented. And families had to be bigger because so many died.

Back in the 1950's my sister, who'd had polio and was disabled by it, got vaccinated when the vaccine came out. People don't seem to remember how destructive some of these illnesses can be...but a few of us still do.

I remember crippled children, wheelchairs, braces, permanent limps and IRON LUNG CHAMBERS I also remember that ouchy needle, and the Yuky Sugar Cube, but I never remember having POLIO Nuff Said

I didn't go to medical school, but, I like science, and reading white papers. The Spanish study showed that there was NO "herd immunity". Without the vaccine, we'd be seeing a lot more deaths, even now

Even with the vaccine, we need boosters, because, after 6 months, only 5% of people have ANY measurable antibodies. See, this is why it is important to read these things.
