People Magazine is covering it while the Washington Post's top political story is "Trump defends White House redecorating — and Cheesecake Factory — from Obama’s mocking," and the Trump-Epstein story is nowhere to be found on its site. people.com/former-miss-...
When Trump barely skated by with a win in 2024 the media treated it as a massive mandate.
If the Dems have a blue tsunami in a few days, the media will immediately start talking about how they need to not go too far and reach out to trump supporters.
“In total, more than 25 different women—some connected to Epstein and many not—have
independently accused Donald Trump of rape, sexual assault, or other sexual misconduct.”👀
I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.
So, this is still going on.
If you can evade being caught on-the-scene, it is perfectly legal in New York City to ram someone with a car. The police will treat you, the victim, like you're a pain in the ass.
A pedestrian who was nearly killed by a hit-and-run driver in Midtown this summer only learned later — after weeks of silence — that the NYPD had closed the 'open-and-shut case' without finding the perpetrator. buff.ly/Otq7uXf
Politico wrote up Zohran playing basketball with the uncovering-a-big-scandal tone the same day the NYTimes wrote up "credible allegation that The President of the United States raped a woman" as a political strategy story. Broken media in a nutshell
New: Mayor Zohran Mamdani and a group of his friends have been secretly using the NYPD Police Academy’s gymnasium in Queens to play pickup basketball — scrambling some operations at the facility.

If you donated to Josh Turek without realizing he was running on a federally funded trans healthcare coverage ban, you can request a refund of your donation here: help.actblue.com/hc/en-us/art...
Since Josh Turek began joining Republicans in their support of anti-trans discrimination policies, he has been falling in the polls. Iowa Dems doesn't want a republican Josh
I can't wait for the AI-generated note from corporate about how many smiles I'm required to exhibit per hour as monitored by AI in the camera in my laptop
Just as a private equity firm buys out a corporation and strips it for parts, a consultant class is raiding the Democratic Party and getting “generationally wealthy” along the way
New from me and @adambonica.bsky.socialnewrepublic.com/article/2163...
Once mass spam texts were made legal, younger donors vanished, leaving a grassroots fundraising machine that subsists on squeezing vulnerable seniors, some of whom give hundreds of times a day. It’s a horrific model. Consultants get generationally wealthy, and the party hollows out its future.
We found that as of right now 73% of your campaign donation goes back to the consultants and vendors (!!!), four times more than just 20 years ago. Only 13% to ads. Even I was shocked.
AOC: "As AI begins to encroach in our society, their goal is to take your cognition away from you. AI's goal is to take your thoughts away from you, your ability to think away from you, so that you become dependent on a machine ... reading books is active resistance"
Small update re: the Texas Transgender Student Union mailers.
Snailworks, the company that provided mail tracking services for the mailers, denies sending them but will not disclose who hired them. The NRCC spent $4,677 on Snailworks on 8/27/26. TTSU was created days later.
The "Texas Transgender Student Union" that sent out mailers, which have become a major controversy among Republicans, is a real organization — but it was only formed in September in Wyoming as an LLC and is entirely separate from TENT, the organization marketed in the fliers.
I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee).
But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention.
My brain cannot process this level of corruption.
She was being paid $50 million to engineer a pardon from Trump *while working at the Justice Department* as a "Special Government Employee."
And it worked. He got the pardon, and she got the money.

Leaked audio: Michigan Republican Mike Rogers asking for officers at polling stations to intimidate voters
"We called the RNC early and said hey... Let's put police officers, retired or off-duty police officers as our poll watchers in Detroit because go ahead, try to intimidate them. Please."
If our system of justice can determine that shooting a one year-old is justified, then we do not have a system of justice, and our goal should be the eradication of the system we have and its replacement with something better.
JUST IN: The police shooting that killed 1-year-old Kohen Wiley as he sat in his mother’s lap in a Walmart parking lot in Senatobia, Miss., in June “was justified,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch’s office said on Monday.
Her office will not charge the white officer who shot the child.
