Hardest hit: Twitter's Russian apologist Soviet Shannon Poe who claimed Serbia was just a peaceful happy fun country that never committed genocide.

Trump: "Ramaswamy put up a very powerful Ad about a mother saying that her daughter, Acton, is a liar, and much worse. The Press is trying to get him to 'take down the Ad.' Frankly, anybody whose mother spoke about daughter that way would normally lead to the daughter being precluded from serving"

This is just strange behavior, even from a dementia patient. Trump stops and waves. The camera zooms out to reveal that there’s nobody in the direction he’s waving. Apparently, he’s waving to the ghost of Lindsey Graham.

Taxing the billionaires could *literally* provide free lunches for school children, among other things, so let's give it a try!

Most billionaire wealth isn't in yachts or jewelry — that's just a few percent of it. Most is productive business capital: companies that employ people, build things, and fund research. Tax that wealth and you're taxing the businesses that employ us all. Cato's Adam Michel explains.

Hearing from my sources that this "over the top" tweet from Jan Crawford is being discussed internally at CBS. At the same time, as those same sources noted, "Jan is protected by Bari" and has been a very vocal acolyte of Weiss. "She just can't help herself," one network insider said.

John Mateer’s nine turnovers this season are tied for most by a player in the FBS this season, per TruMedia

Tom Green@tomasverde.bsky.social

John Mateer was having his best game of the season against Kentucky. That is, until he wasn't. After starting 19-of-27 for 229 yards and a touchdown, Mateer completed just 5 of his final 13 passes for 41 yards and 3 picks. "I know who I am, but I felt good. I did... It's just got to finish."

I always have mixed feelings about these images. Yes, it's inspiring to see these college students committed to democracy, but the fact that they have to do anything remotely difficult to exercise their voting rights is enraging. Taking part in a democracy should be as easy as possible.

This was how the “furries want litter boxes in schools!” hoax got ripped up and (mostly) died. People asked for proof, and every time a school got mentioned the administrators and teachers were quick to say, “No, wtf are you talking about?” Amazing what can happen when reporters ask for proof...

Kevin M. Kruse@kevinmkruse.bsky.social

Will any reporter ask the President of the United States to name the five specific states where he alleges that public school teachers are deciding -- all on their own initiative, over the objections of the parents -- to force their children into gender-affirming surgeries? Seems like a big story?
