wait wasn't 230 tons sea level thrust the final quoted performance number for Raptor 2 as well?

Kaynouky@kaynouky.bsky.social

Congratulations, you’re dead. You made it. The hard part is over. Now you just have to exist for ~100 trillion years, which, I assure you, will fly by without a working central nervous system. If you have any questions or concerns, that would be highly unusual.

lmao they're gonna have to stretch Centaur V by 50% and change the tank material, yeah dog this suuuure this is faster and cheaper than just finishing the EUS would have been newsroom.ulalaunch.com/releases/uni...

Most interestingly, discussion of launching Artemis III without the ICPS (so without a second stage at all!) so they can save the last ICPS maybe for use on the Artemis IV lunar landing. Smells like an admission that there's no way to "just" slap the Centaur V on top in just 2-3 years.

as you read the insane campaign fundraising numbers dropping today please recall that currently Elon Musk is personally responsible for about 1 in every 20 dollars spent on behalf of Republicans nationwide in 2026; I wouldn’t be surprised if when the dust settles that number is as high as 1 in 10
