The Jewish Chronicle ran a piece by a well-known racist who arged the SS weren’t that bad really - and definitely not as bad as Hamas - because the industrial annihalation of Jews really upset them.

Peter Walker@peterwalker99.bsky.social

Pretty extraordinary for the Jewish Chronicle to run an op ed & news story about Nigel Farage warning of antisemitism in the Greens without mentioning that he is the only serving major party leader to have been criticised by Jewish groups for using tropes linked to antisemitic conspiracy theories.

adrian62.bsky.social reposted

A year ago, you could perhaps explain this as cowardice. Fearing Farage was headed for 10 Downing St, they felt a need to suck up to him. But given this seems far less likely now, we just have to conclude that this is their politics.

Picturing the most cynical possible outcome of all this being that a defeated Chuck Schumer's final act in Congress is to anoint Cory Booker as his successor, to ensure that — if nothing else — the Democratic caucus remains committed to Israel

Cory Booker — who is being floated as a 2028 contender, and who just the other day did not deny the possibility of wanting to become leader of the Senate Democrats — promotes the book of Brett McGurk, a chief architect of the US-backed Israeli genocide of Palestine:

This is in response to several "what the hell are you on about?" replies to a post today. But these are just the latest examples of a widespread determination not to know.

It's striking to see people *still* reacting to the term neoliberalism as if it were a figment of the imagination. I guess the fish doesn't see the water in which it swims. But still to be claiming, in 2026, not to know what it is looks to me like wilful ignorance verging on denial.

100% this, a rubicon has been crossed The Israeli govt has killed tens of thousands of people, including 20,000 children, over the course of just a few years - and have showed no accountability, no genuine remorse, and came under little meaningful intl pressure to end the killing

Robert Kraft — who's given millions to pro-Israel orgs like AIPAC — once got a $1M award from Netanyahu for helping stop people from boycotting Israel. "Israel does not have a more loyal friend than Robert Kraft," Netanyahu said. Now, Kraft helps kick Macklemore off Ed Sheeran's tour:

What this reflects is the growing power of the ultra-rich over every aspect of life. Protest is an affront to the power of wealth. So is any politics to the left of an ever-shifting "centrism". So is independent journalism. So are independent universities. One by one, they must all be shut down.
