I live in a rural town and, like, I don't know how to tell you this, but the girls play on the boys team and vice versa all the time because otherwise we don't have enough players for a game and it's literally always fine so stop being weirdos about kids sports and just let trans kids play.

When Democrats do well this fall, we’re going to see a lot of “strategists” trying to take credit for their approach. The trans panic people have been nothing but a drag on Democratic momentum and they need to fuck off into the sun

Just to be clear... Prop 40 is a ONE-TIME retroactive tax. It applies ONLY to billionaires and would tax just 5% of their wealth — which grew 30% in 2025. California's billionaires would still be worth $2T+ AFTER the tax. The revenue will fund healthcare for millions of Californians. Vote YES.

The Trump Administration said there were 16,000 illegal voters in Nevada... Then they admitted their list included only 158 people. And Nevada double-checked, and not a single person on the 158 list was illegal. A completely made-up lie. truthout.org/articles/dhs...

This is wild & deeply alarming from this good opinion: “[DOJ] suggest[s] that every American citizen who registers to vote is the subject of a voter fraud investigation underway in the Civil Rights Division simply because they registered to vote.” 👀⚖️

This is good news. U.S. District Judge Sooknanan vacated what DOJ internally called its “list maintenance project,” finding that the department exceeded its statutory authority and violated federal law. ✅🗳️⚖️ www.democracydocket.com/wp-content/u...

It's like a parody, but it's deadly serious; the Commerce Department (which includes Census, NOAA, and others) has outright deleted "don't alter or suppress scientific findings for political reasons" from its scientific integrity rules. Seriously.

SCOOP: After the Census Bureau issued a highly unusual report tied to a President Trump-aligned think tank, the bureau’s parent agency, the Commerce Department, cut language banning political interference from its scientific integrity policy, @npr.org has learned www.npr.org/2026/08/31/n...

Here’s your daily reminder that when you go to cast your ballot in November please vote all the way down the ballot. The further down you go, those races really do get closer to your front door and ultimately your wallet. Let’s turn these laboratories of autocracy back into democracy.

Texans, if your voter registration is marked as “suspense,” it may mean that your address needs to be updated or confirmed. It does not necessarily mean you are ineligible. Check your status & update your info. Visit VoteTexas.gov to learn more.

Trump wants to hand parts of Yosemite National Park over to a private developer who has unsuccessfully tried to develop a resort outside of the park for decades. Is nothing sacred? Yosemite is a national treasure, it doesn’t need a sleazy private resort.

Polls don’t win elections. PEOPLE DO. Don’t get comfortable. Don’t assume anything. We have to show up in overwhelming numbers this November and leave absolutely nothing to chance.

If you want members of this regime to be held legally accountable, you have to add four seats to the Supreme Court in 2029. Otherwise, they'll protect their fellow oligarchs like they did in 2023. 1. Win the senate 2. Block nominees 3. Elect a dem POTUS 4. Congress adds 4 seats 5. Have nice things

Republicans alone slashed Medicare with zero Democratic votes and timed it for after the election. A Democratic Congress will restore the cuts, cap insulin at $35, expand dental and vision coverage, and crack down on Big Pharma. Vote them in. #RepublicansCutHealthcare

If Congress doesn't act now, Social Security benefits could be cut by more than 20 percent after 2032. Senator Bernie Moreno and I have a bipartisan solution: lift the Social Security payroll tax cap. We need to save Social Security for the next generation. Let's get this done.

News accounts are straining to portray the Virginia move as a betrayal of Dems' principled opposition to gerrymandering. It's pure bullshit. Dems passed a 2021 bill ending it for *both sides.* The Dem position is that Trump/Rs don't get to play by their own rules: newrepublic.com/article/2093...

Joe Bagga-Doenitz reposted

A reminder while Republicans bitch about Dems finishing the redistricting fight they started: they have full control of gov’t— they can pass a law banning gerrymandering any time they want. They won’t. Republicans aren’t mad gerrymandering exists; they’re mad that they’re not the only ones using it.
