Before Citizens United, the top 15 political contributors spent just $15 million on the midterm election. Now, the top 15 have spent $962 MILLION. That's up 6,400%. THIS is why our system is so rigged. We really, really have to end Citizens United and tax the rich.

I started a new dentist a couple months back, Hydrogen Peroxide DDS, my teeth and gums have never looked better.

in the spring i saw a dentist, he said i had 8 cavities and it would be $2k to get them all fixed. i went to the dentist yesterday, guy says I have no cavities and that he doesn't know why the first guy told me that. cool profession

I guess since my phone has been listening to me cheer every time it rains lately, the weather app has started telling me heavy rain for the next hour. The sky is blue with nary a cloud.

The sell off of our public lands continues. NPS has proposed a Yosemite-like land swap in Cumberland Island National Seashore. It would allow construction of roads and eight 15K square foot mansions on one of our last, mostly intact barrier islands. Public comment is open until 10/16. Link in reply.

Trump manufactures the “illness” himself and then pretends to fix the crisis of his own making. I believe psychiatrists refer to this phenomenon as "Munchausen by Nazi” (pardon my accent). abcnews.com/Health/munch...

The Greenland “deal” epitomizes Trump. A huge amount of drama, a huge amount of damage that won’t be fixed for years and maybe never. And in the end he gets literally nothing but the diplo equivalent of Danish FIFA peace prize. 🏆 Stood down by Greenland and Denmark. Both hilarious and pathetic. Sad!

Senior Judge John Kane of Colorado, a Carter appointee, dropped this line in an immigration habeas order: "Requiring lay individuals to endure the burden and stress of pursuing habeas relief to remedy an [unlawful arrest] is neither fair nor consistent with the orderly administration of justice."

$7.25. That's what Congress decided an hour of our life is worth. Back in 2009. They haven't touched the minimum wage since. S&P 500 is up 700%. CEO pay went through the roof. Workers have gotten screwed. Every one of these are a policy choice.

Trump's massive surveillance state and attacks on our civil liberties wouldn't have been possible without the PATRIOT Act. Watch this prescient warning from Russ Feingold, the only Senator to vote against its passage after 9/11.

Just 29 people control $4.1 trillion. That's more wealth than the entire GDP of every country on Earth except the top three. In the hands of a single bus full of people. Tell me again we can't afford living wages for everyone one more time.

Days after Donald Trump claimed his botched Reflecting Pool makeover, which has cost American taxpayers nearly $20 million, was "almost fixed," recent powerful storms in DC have left it disheveled with fallen fencing and trees, dirty rainwater, and debris.

WATCH THIS. Rosie O’Donnell sat with Epstein survivors. Then they stood together and sang Helen Reddy. All in white. Hands raised. “You are all heroes,” she said. Share it. Demand the rest of the files. Don’t let this fade. #USDemocracy #Rosie #EpsteinFiles #Survivors #LaborDay

I’ve always said the rules committee is where Republicans legislation comes to die. Watch Rep Neguse (D-CO) absolutely man handle Rep Steil ((R-WI) on socialism. These Republicans in Congress just aren’t a serious group, vote every last one of them out in November.
