Facebook is more exposed than other tech companies on an antitrust level too! The remedy for them is relatively simple, just roll back the instagram and WhatsApp acquisitions.

Jason Bailey@jasondashbailey.com

They're not even trying to be slick about it anymore. Billionaires are full on flop-sweating about the ass-whipping they're about to get.

❗❗❗Mark Zuckerberg's meta just suspended the No Kings Instagram account. I just rushed back from my local No Kings to jump on this. Bottom line, would be helpful for all pro-No Kings folks to elevate the issue and help us get the word out about No Kings today. The Nerd Reich strikes again.

Streaming will always be better than cable because of how easy it is to cancel and because of how you can bring your content with you when you travel.

The Verge@theverge.com

If every streamer in the game decides that paywalled always-on channels, bundles, and even more price increases are the way forward, it’s really going to feel like we’ve come full circle back to cable. Read more from @charlespulliam.bsky.social:

The show does these world history recaps when it time jumps that you would all find especially juicy. Even subtle things like how tech would advance faster if the space race kept going are fun details that I think most people won’t notice. (keep an eye on the tech and what year it is in the show)

Our neighborhood grocery store in CT (S/O Big Y) has a bag of 25 chicken nuggets for $5 that are as good as anything you’d get at any fast food chain. It’s the ultimate “kids eat while you shop” item.

Grabbing yourself a donut from the bakery department as you grocery shop is an underrated life hack. Like and subscribe for more of my #DadTips

@dmc-ryan.bsky.social I just caught up on last weeks Unlocked and I once again put forward my proposal for how Xbox should handle physical media. The key to keeping costs down is printing on-demand (with a communicated delivery delay) which prevents them from having to hold excess inventory.

Rob Federici@bigrobfed.bsky.social

A hill I am willing to die on: players should be able to order any game in the Xbox/PS store for on-demand printing. Centralize operations, charge an extra $10 over MSRP and be clear that delivery will take 1-2 weeks. Who says no?

This is the right answer!

Kat Abughazaleh@katmabu.bsky.social

no one wants to consider my insane pitch which is to eliminate timezones across the planet so we’re all on the exact same time and force everyone to change their conception of what a day is

Jesus Christ. Run your own fucking campaign how you want. But don't go out of your way to give Republicans ammo against Democrats running in other districts. Such stupid assholes.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Thirteen Democratic House members and candidates announced their support for a centrist initiative aimed at pushing back against the party’s tilt toward democratic socialism.

If Dems want to make inroads with young men, promising to address the RAM crisis would be a great place to start. Xbox SX launched in 2020 at $500, and is now $800!! @democrats.org @housedemocrats.bsky.social @chrismurphyct.bsky.social @delauro.house.gov

Tom Warren@tomwarren.co.uk

Microsoft is hiking the price of its Xbox consoles by $100 or more. The discless Xbox Series X will start at $749.99, while the disc drive version is $799.99. Overall, 512GB models will be $100 more expensive, while 1TB models will be $150 more expensive www.theverge.com/games/957042...

I don’t know man, who is “the Democratic Party” if it’s not the voters?Democratic voters choose candidates, not party leaders. And party leaders need to listen to what voters are telling us - and right now they are demanding our party be bolder.

Jaime Harrison@jaimeharrison.bsky.social

I say this with no ill will or animosity: if you hate the Democratic Party, then please don’t run for our nomination. Don’t use our resources. Don’t rely on our volunteers. Don’t use our infrastructure. Don’t ask Democrats to invest their time, money, and energy in your campaign.

And if it’s a REALLY big clog, go ahead and record it. Hard to beat a good unclogging video!

As much as we want to rip them a new one for getting us into this mess, when people on the right come forward and apologize and admit they were wrong, we should probably welcome them to the light.

America has a housing shortage. Every single housing proposal you see that is not "build more housing" will have the primary effect of pushing up the prices of existing housing, and is therefore, in reality, a plan to enrich current homeowners. In conclusion, build more housing.

Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

This is even more true now that we live in an age of infinite content. Don’t like something? Drop it an move on because we all have endless backlogs for everything now, and it’s all instantly available. Who has the time to care if someone else likes something you don’t??

Any coinciding effort to make American car companies more competitive? If not this is just a bill that's going to force drivers to pay $35k for a new EV when we could be spending $15k

Senator Elissa Slotkin@slotkin.senate.gov

Today I introduced my first bill in the U.S. Senate, and its to ban Chinese vehicles in the U.S. market. Learn more here: www.detroitnews.com/story/busine...

A tricky thing about modern society is that no one has any idea when they don’t die. Like, the number of lives saved by controlling air pollution in America is probably over 200,000 per year, but the number of people who think their life was saved by controlling air pollution is zero.
