I'm trying a sandwich recipe from 1887: the ham and marmalade sandwich. It's very simple. It calls for ham, marmalade and, specifically, white bread.

Made myself a breakfast sandwich this morning with a leftover baguette.i wrapped it in foil and put it in the oven. Then it did that thing where the cheese attaches to the foil as it is unwrapped.

Stuffed grape leaves. I have them cooling so I can store for Saturday. Tomorrow is taramasalata & marinating ouzo marinated cheese.

Unconventional I grant you, but! Hearty slices of aubergine roasted to remove moisture. After one with cheese, one with capers pressed in. Then! Slab of white fish sandwiched between, then wrapped in a prosciutto type ham and stuck in the oven. Served with broccoli and onion rice. Wife's a fan.
