Come on now #SST, we've all read #NickyHager's #DirtyWork book. We KNOW you're a branch of #JordanWilliams' #Taxpayer'sUnion. #nzpol #VoteGreenPartyAotearoa26

“The billboard ads were created by the Campaign Company, owned by Taxpayers' Union boss Jordan Williams” Clean up our political system. Get Jordan Williams & his racist Astroturfing disinformation machine out of our Democracy. #nzpol #OneTermGovernment #NZ #Aotearoa #ForAllOfUs

RNZ asking the Sensible Sentencing Trust and TPU for comment on the new attack billboards is yet more evidence they learned nothing from Dirty Work. These are bad-faith PR orgs and RNZ is willfully running cover for them.

Shrink government to a size where it does very little and only the wealthy can afford to have a half decent standard of living. Understandably, neither party campaigns on the destination, only the journey.

Lots of "politicians and gangs" in the election news. For completeness, I'd like to see "politicians and people who believe great replacement theory", "politicians and extremely conservative religions", "politicians and pedophiles who were the head of the party and had that fact suppressed" too.

“The men in the photograph … watched a woman be publicly destroyed for standing in a room with them and telling them that their vote could change the government .. They were the only people in this whole affair with nothing to gain and they paid for it anyway.”

List of people criticising Greens/TPM for meeting Mongrel Mob members when they themselves have had meetings with Mongrel Mob members: - Don Brash (formerly Act and National) - Nicole McKee (Act) - Willie Jackson (Labour) #nzpol

Tama Potaka (National). Not sure of the context of the photo but here he is, in a photo, meeting gang members. #nzpol

#nzpol It's OK to talk to: * tobacco lobbyists * alcohol pushers * farming reps * climate deniers * gun nutters * business groups * sustainability greenwashers * believers in trickle down * vaccine cookers * outright racists But, somehow, it's not OK to talk to gangs? Sigh. 🙏

I have considerable interest and reckons about the cricket world, in NZ and beyond and the NZ team, selections, strategy, & direction. However, I have no expertise or experience (beyond Intermediate School Junior Grade - early 1970s). Waiting for media to inquire, and then print, my reckons.

Turning our politics into some kind of gameshow does a massive disservice to our particular democracy. The debate style format has been taken wholesale from the US and it's as effective as making politicians sit down and do a pub quiz. We need proper discussion of policy. Maybe next time...

Agree, strongly. I want to hear more about the stakes and less about the odds; more about how parliament works, and the duties and constraints of the role they're auditioning for, and why urgency is being used for culture-war nonsense, and and and... Like, let's get to the bottom of this stuff.

#nzpol Time for the left to know its friends from its enemies Unlike Brown who has no background in Health, Verrall is an expert in pathology & molecular medicine. She critiqued Labour's pandemic response and led well as Minister for Food Safety; Research, Science & Innovation and Minister of Health

locus@locuslebe.bsky.social

Verrall said Labour did NOT have a target for growing the nurse workforce and would end the [National's] hiring freeze Brown is lying about health 'achievements' that are based on making it harder to get on to waiting lists & which totally ignore the realities of what doctors & nurses are saying

In last nights debate, christopher luxon said he was a big dolly parton fan and his favourote song was "9 to 5". He has either never actually listened to that song, or he made a very obvious lie for very little reason.

Very “if only the inmates at Auschwitz had agreed to work with the SS, so much could have been achieved collaboratively” vibes in that message from TOP.
