An injury to one is an injury to us all. Sincere. Intense. I like Pokémon Go. Parallel systems serve our neighbors and it's the the superior form of resistance. I beat cancer. And I'd do it again. #Fcancer

as much as i’d rather build something new, we have to takeover and gut the democratic party all that infrastructure belongs to the people, not the loser ass DCCC consultant class that has reduced it to nothing since the clinton era

I was just looking at these Census stats. Workforce participation among Somali-American adults in Minnesota is actually higher than the rest of the population.

Write in anyways!! I’m asking for anyone in Ramsey to write in me, or literally anyone, against Bob Fletcher.

My cousin organized a series of masked concerts in NYC so immunocompromised and other covid-conscious folks can still enjoy live music events, and is raising funds so he can keep doing so! Love and appreciation to anyone able to chip in 🙏🏾♥️ www.kickstarter.com/projects/pos...

Billionaire families have spent $1.7 BILLION on the 2026 midterms so far — a 5,200% increase since the 2010 midterms. Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day. Big Money is the root of our dysfunction.

Ok. I'm late gen x. I literally was operating under "children should be seen and not heard." Until a few days ago. I am 48 years old! Trauma is real. For sure!

Genuine question from a newly diagnosed autistic. Why are the death rituals so creepy in the US? Why do so many people care when a person dies- and they HAVE to go to a funeral. Yet, they were entirely absent when the person was alive? What is this?! I think its performative wildly repulsive.

My parents are passed. Being able to use my words and be blatantly honest to my relatives has been absolutely liberating. Especially for a recently diagnosed person with ASD. It RULES. Because I didn't have to follow everyone else's rules. I love this for me.

ProPublica is the indispensable journalistic institution of today; MUCH better than both the Washington Post, which has crumbled, and the the New York Times, which is in the pocket of Israel & the weapons industry

The government *still* isn’t tracking how often immigration agents detain U.S. citizens. We are. 500+ Americans have been handcuffed, held at gunpoint or held against their will in Trump’s second term. Our tally is almost certainly an undercount. THREAD (content warning: violence) ⬇️

I caught a cold from my daughter who babysat a stuffy teething baby 9 days ago. It's miserable! Either I didn't get sick very often when my kids were younger... yet it's highly likely that instead of being sick, I took a 12 hour sudafed and powered through it all.

We do not have to let people suffer for capitalism, and also we need houses and food. Workers deserve rest and care. That's a choice we can make as a society

If we do not change how this system functions all we’re saying by encouraging a career in the trades is “hey this will get you by until you’re forty and then we’ll stand idly by while you slowly die”. We have to change the system. We cannot trade school our way out of capitalism

Dammit. This fucking sucks. I hate it here.

Well, the president won't (for once). His ICE "agents" well... they will do that on his behalf? /s

And while we're on this fresh hot thread let me add that after Michael Baskins' TWO ridiculous Ward 2 runs, during one of which I was DFL precinct secretary and noted as he falsified his home address, I can also report he is the dumbest candidate I've ever met in person. and THAT is saying something

People saying what Amy Klobuchar was doing here looked tame do not understand the body language, tone, and affect of Minnesotans. She basically tarred and feathered this man in the town square while cackling with glee

🤡 Schmitt beclowns himself 🤡 Schmitt concocted an elaborate conspiracy theory that Smith traveled to Atl for a Hawks game and to collude with Fani Willis, & flashed his "evidence" before accusing Smith of perjury. There's just one problem -- his facts were totally wrong. Here's the whole sequence:

Just saw video of people at Kare11 in the rain protesting the moving of Jana Shortal’s show off TV. Not sure I’ve ever seen such a thing before…

Also, Democracts who want to ban "men" in women's sports... It's okay to vote blue no matter who: because voting Democract is 80% less fascism than their opponents in the RNC.

I just spoke with a retired NBA player who told me that when he got drafted, he went out for ice cream to celebrate and was denied service. All these stories are still within living memory and they're still being contested at the highest levels of our government.

I had not seen this clip where Tammy Duckworth advises Democrats to "not impeach anybody," "get back to work" and "allow" Donald Trump to "save face" and I would just like to remind the senator from IL that the federal government took 4,000 Chicagoans and murdered a 38-year-old father last fall.
