So we fly a pride flag in our front yard in a very conservative neighborhood and it’s been there for the last few years. Someone put this in our mailbox and my goodness…

The responses in this Customer Service ticket are licking my arse so hard that it must be an AI 😐

New Art! A surprise commission by my fellow @pawsome.bsky.social staff to say thanks for taking on Members and Reg this year. Not sure why I get singled out, everyone has worked hard and done a great job in their respective roles, but I’m very appreciative all the same ☺️

I realise a printer is no longer considered an essential part of a computer at home. But it’s rather surprising to have one of our company offices, emailed a shipping label to send us some stuff, say they can’t use it as they don’t have a printer in the building!

Here is my butt in particular 😁

More butts than a smoking room ashtray! Here is every single person that showed their best side, for pride! Head over to: drive.google.com/drive/folder... to view them all! Thank you to everyone that bought one. Lets do it again next pride <3

In case you are an academic who is currently being gaslit into believing that you're a caveman who wants their students to be jobless if you resist allowing AI in your classrooms... I present to you Berkeley Law's response, which can be summarized as "Fuck off directly into the sun."

Not a bad Sunday. Breakfast, hot tub, sauna, shag, several blowjobs, roast beef dinner with a nice glass of wine and now poured into a first class train seat home.

The other day I was talking to my teenage niece, a scarily smart kid who would never ever have AI do her work for her, and she told me that multiple times a teacher has accused her of it, with the burden of proof that AI didn’t write her paper placed on her. It was infuriating.

Quick PSA: AI Image Detectors TL;DR: Take them with a grain of salt. Recently, I saw a discussion about a couple of artists being outed as prompters, and in one instance an AI detection tool was used. This got me thinking, so I ran my newest drawing through one to see what would happen. Hmmm...

This made me well up a little 😢

My day job is at a rural branch of a public library, and we have a Pride display. Yesterday I was at the desk when a man came in. Fifties, maybe, or sixties. Plaid shirt, mesh trucker cap, suspenders. He went up to the display and just stood there for a long moment. Then he came up to the desk. 🧵 1/

"What is [small org] doing to help and support trans people?" Bitch I ain't posting that on the internet where GB News can see it! Are you stupid??? The local community knows, the people who need help are getting it, that's all that matters. Get off the internet and find somewhere you can help too

Neutron was a major contributor to the community, supporting & working at many events. Sadly he left this world last year, but is remembered always. This event raising money for the LGBT Foundation is a great way to honor his memory. If you can, please support, or event take part! buff.ly/jonL2c5

This. I’m aware that my own performance in suit isn’t particularly great, and have huge respect for those who can really bring a character to life.

To add to this, what matters most imo is the effort you put in to playing the character. That's what gets noticed. Someone who plays a great character in a cheap suit is going to get way more attention than someone who has an expensive suit and just acts like their boring self.

I will say, if anyone might fancy DJ-ing at Pawsome in genres other than EDM then please do apply! Variety is the spice of life and all that. Btw if you know any DJs who do alternative music, you'd make my day by sharing this with them!

Drop some filthy beats for us! DJ applications for Pawsome are now open! forms.cloud.microsoft/e/k5wCwG8QEm Applications close Sunday 7th June.

Just realised that, for unrelated and innocent reasons, I’m going to be walking into the office tomorrow brandishing a power drill and a copy of my employment contract 😁

Six pre-packed chocolate-spread pancakes do not constitute a balanced breakfast, despite Sainsbury’s sending them in place of the croissants I ordered.

I normally tolerate vaccines pretty well, but this new gonorrhoea one is giving me “school bully dead arm” sensation tonight. Still well worth it though, and I hope y’all get it soon if it’s relevant to you and you haven’t already.

It’s only partially effective, so really needs everyone in the appropriate circles to have it, to start cutting down spread. SH clinics should offer it if you have multiple casual partners - worth asking if they don’t bring it up.

I’m on the plane to Nordic Fuzz Con. Presumably the fact that someone just boarded in full plate armour (sans helmet) and a cloak is not unrelated. (Armour isn’t furry per se, of course, but any weird outfits around Malmö for the next week are going to be presumed furry until proven otherwise.)

I didn’t quite catch what they were saying, but the cabin crew definitely used the phrase “knight in shining armour” over the intercom.

Glad to discover that the new gonorrhoea vaccine has finally reached Hampshire. Booked in for it at my next PrEP appointment straight after NFC.

If you weren’t aware of this - it’s an existing meningitis vaccine that’s been found to also be about 40% effective against gonorrhoea. So not a magic bullet, but improves your odds. And hopefully everyone else’s, if enough of us make sure to get it.

- Philosophy of Science - Russian for Scientists - Finance and Accounting - Robotics, but only the very boring theoretical parts - Neural Computing, which turned out to contain very little about neural networks and was mostly a study of interesting brain injuries.

Never mind the jobs you had, tell me five classes you took in college: 1. Artificial Intelligence[*] 2. Pharmacognosy 3. Microbiology 4. Software Engineering 5. Human physiology [*] State of the art in 1990, deep in the AI Winter

5 jobs you’ve had - Y2K tester - oxygen bottle filler - hospital storeman in charge of bedpans, vomit bowls, and limb bins - Perl developer - boat plumbing control engineer

Sasha Distan@sashadistan.bsky.social

5 jobs you've had -Teacher (current and certainly best one) -Butcher (certified good with knives) -Greengrocer (also good with vegetables) -Junior Archivist (old paperwork is prettier than new paperwork) -Opera House Dining Administrator (the food samples are amazing also ppl burst into song)

I know someone who had a nightmare about winning this, but it was every toy in every permutation of size and colour, and filled an entire articulated lorry. Which then arrived unannounced and started unloading thousands of dicks onto his parents’ driveway 🤣

I’m working on a community project at the moment that’s written in Python. Just made a donation to help fill this hole. Maybe if enough people around the world do the same, we can even exceed the original US Government blackmail grant?

Socks the Macro Wolf Dad@socksthewolf.com

Python was awarded a funding grant, funding grant asked Python foundation to remove all diversity and inclusion initiatives they have. Python foundation said no and rejected the grant. If you use Python, send a few dollars to the charity to keep it going. I’m pushing a dono on behalf of ScamGuard.
