I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. Heck yes, for an indie film beating out something that costed over 250 times more to produce. The producer on Obsession runs a local horror movie club in my city and it is so cool following the success of this movie three years after first meeting him.

So one of the richest men on Earth makes an AI 'animation' startup to prove that he, and by extension everyone else, doesn't need to pay animators. What he needs is a beloved auteur to sell him their credibility. If that sounds familiar to anyone who follows me, know that you broke my heart.

Bungie friends: you deserve better. We as gamedevs deserve better. The industry deserves better.
