It’s depressing to see schools use AI to create flyers, banners, & t-shirts. When I was in high school the faculty would come to the art department to have students create these things. I learned so many skills that have followed me my entire professional life. That’s what I thought school was for.

I once quit a job at KB Toys during my orientation because the boss was clearly an asshole. I also quit a job after 2 weeks because they lied about the job duties on the posting and interview and had me doing completely unrelated things once hired.

It's almost a joke at this point, but the entire story of Mamdani's mayorship really has been "it turns out we can just turn off the orphan grinding machine, the switch was right there the whole time."

Why is this not a massive national news story? This is political violence, and my understanding is the media - and the Republican Party - have made it crystal clear how much they oppose political violence, yes?

Part of why I don't like the AI-or-bust economy is the constant flopsweat of people on the news who say this HAS to work. Quit making everyone so anxious. Goddamn. If this is the next Google then why are you acting like this? I don't remember being told to buy an iPhone at gunpoint.

It may look like diarrhea on a tortilla, but I assure you that I'm a genius for making butter chicken tacos.

not a knock on indivisible, which doesn’t control this, but i think dems in congress underestimate just how corrosive it is to morale and trust to force their constituents to have to beg them to just do the right thing themselves for once on corruption issues like these. it’s exhausting

Indivisible ❌👑@indivisible.org

The Senate could soon vote on a bill that would turbocharge Trump’s corruption. Since the GOP only needs to peel off a handful of Democrats to pass this crypto legislation, it’s extra important for the Senate to hear from us. Send an email and demand that your senators vote NO on the CLARITY Act.
