Absolutely FABULOUS news for all life on Earth, especially the Amazon rainforest!!!! Despite the fascists playing every dirty, cheating trick in the book to steal this election, the people of Brazil saw through the lies. So, so, happy and relieved this morning 🇧🇷 👏 share.google/UdpzcSkD5us7...

Bolsonaro's loss is not just a loss for Bolsonaro. It's a loss for Trump. For Musk. For Milei. For Netanyahu. For Farage. For Meta and Zuckerberg. For the meat barons, the fossil fuel corporations, and the rest of the neocolonial looters. And it is a massive win for humanity and the living planet.

The Gas industry are fighting tooth and nail to anchor fossil products in our clean energy transition. Marketing fossil hydrogen as clean energy is just the latest lie. Decades of gasquakes, lobbying to reduce emissions standards.. We don't see a reason to trust them. Do you? #Gasunie #Methane

Weeds don’t ask permission. They grow in the cracks, spread underground and show up where they’re not intended. What if our tools for resistance could do the same? We explore the crossroads of activism, art, infrastructure and tech. #DisobedientArtSchool #AlterTech #RadicalHope

This is what happens when the 1% controls cultural platforms. They buy whatever outcomes they want. It's the way the #Fossil fuel industry works as well. Their influence must be removed from cultural institutions, and all other pillars of democracy. End #artwashing #FightBack #ClimatePolitics

theguardian.comOutrage after Meta suspends No Kings Instagram account during protests‘Meta owes us an explanation,’ group says as organizers fear censorship after account goes dark for several hours

ClarG reposted

Update: without explanation, and after being suspended for more than an hour during peak mobilization time, Zuckerberg's Instagram restored the No Kings account but we still lack admin access. More to come. Rest assured we will not stop organizing against this regime and its collaborators.

❗❗❗Mark Zuckerberg's meta just suspended the No Kings Instagram account. I just rushed back from my local No Kings to jump on this. Bottom line, would be helpful for all pro-No Kings folks to elevate the issue and help us get the word out about No Kings today. The Nerd Reich strikes again.

A remarkably promising situation for the Greens: health insurance premiums + climate change are now top concerns in Switzerland, where elections are often decided by issue salience. And their leader, Lisa Mazzone, is rated the most favourably and as the most influential of all Swiss party leaders

Gratifying to learn that the Nobel prize committee still has a backbone and a clear sense of justice and morality. An excellent choice.

Navi Pillay last year: "The commission finds it is genocide" Pillay has just won the Nobel peace prize.

Lets hope this is a picture of Australian Climate Minister Bowen and Prime Minister Albanese feeling in the marrow of their bones how genocidally criminal and psychopathically unjust it is to allow themselves to be corporate captured by the fossil fuel industry. #Climate #Coal #COP31

It’s astounding this isn’t the only thing people are talking about. It shows how much power mainstream news, who are blacking out the climate element of this El Niño, still holds. #ClimateCrisis

Fossil funded Groninger Museum decided It's Party Time!.. with 4 major openings on one weekend, its choice was for celebration, oblivious to a summer of extreme heat, drought, and fires. But repressed realities can lead to bad dreams, and in this case, summoned an ironic Wake-Up Call from us.

ClarG reposted

FFC's art intervention against fossil sponsorship at the Groninger Museum took up themes from both their opening weekend, and Frances Stark’s book - The Architect and the Housewife, which loans its title to a new exhibition. Stark’s work explores gendered divisions and power dynamics in art and life

Images from our art intervention at fossil sponsored Groninger Museum. Cupcakes with ARTWASHING? - NO THANKS! were given out. Soon after, sad party whistles disrupted a panel discussion on 'Building the Future' - then floating pillows of climate dream angst were released in various rooms.

The whole world knows we have to Stop Burning Fossil Fuel, or we Suicide As A Species. So what does the Fossil Fuel Industry do? Pretends to make renewable energy. Convinces gullible people to spread their Hydrogen Myth. In the Netherlands this now includes the King 🤦‍♂️, and the Groninger Museum.
