I'm honored to be endorsed by Indivisible National. Their No Kings Rallies have brought millions of people together to stand up to authoritarianism. They understand exactly what kind of leadership & organizing this moment demands. I'm humbled they've put their faith in my leadership in the Senate.

In Minnesota, Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan is running for Senate with a record of delivering transformational progress for families and the opportunity to make history as the first Indigenous woman elected to the Senate. We're proud to endorse Peggy because we know she's up for the fight against fascism.

Thank you, @indivisible.org! With fascism ascendent, in a country that working families can’t afford, we need to fight like hell for a more inclusive democracy and a more equal economy. Together, we’ll keep organizing for the country that we deserve.

I have the utmost respect for Senator Kaine and Senator Warner but we do not need β€œcoaching” on redistricting coming from a cuck chair in the corner. How about you all stay focused on the fascist in the White House and let us handle redistricting in Virginia. 10-1

One of my favorite things about monitoring actions throughout the day is seeing the international solidarity start trickling in early πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

We spend lots of time parsing through all the preexisting trends that made the rise of an American fascism possible, and that's all true enough, but it's still a huge contingent factor that Donald Trump is a literal freak of nature, a sui generis pathological bundle of min-maxed personality traits.

the actual communication problem democrats have is this: their most prominent national figures filter everything through focus grouped lines and are incapable of plain speech

Jeffries on Trump planning a military crackdown in Chicago: "We should continue to support local law enforcement and not simply allow Donald Trump to play games with the lives of the American people as part of his effort to manufacture a crisis and create a distraction because he's deeply unpopular"

Asked about Trump's deployment of military and other federal authorities to DC, Hakeem Jeffries touts the "strong letter" issued by the DC Attorney General. β€Š"I thought that was a strongly worded letter," Jeffries also said.

popular anti-fascism as taxpayer revolt...might have some legs

Question for Mike Flood: With $450 million being allocated to Alligator Alcatraz, and ICE burning through $8.4 million a day to illegally detain peopleβ€”How much does it cost for fascism? How much do the tax payers have to pay for a fascist country?

I actually think gerrymandering is actually the perfect litmus test for democrats: If you don’t you want to do everything in your power to defeat the fascists, then you should be replaced with a democrat who does

If your senator is Andy Kim, or one of the 27 Democrats who voted for these critical resolutions, please give them some appreciation. It shouldn’t take bravery to take this moral stand against forced starvation, and yet our fucked up politics require it. We need to welcome that bravery.

Senator Andy Kim@kim.senate.gov

I voted tonight to support the Joint Resolutions of Disapproval because the humanitarian catastrophe and widespread starvation underscores the necessity to end the military campaign in Gaza and allow for unfettered humanitarian access. What can Andor teach us about fighting authoritarianism? A lot, it turns outβ€”and fans are taking that message to the streets. Meredith Blake joins @indivisible.org's Leah Greenberg to discuss the unlikely link between Star Wars fandom and real-world resistance.

There's no conceivable reason a Democrat should be voting to advance--let alone be the savior of--a Trump nominee. Come the fuck on.

Sahil Kapur@sahilkapur.bsky.social

Notable: Trump UN nominee Mike Waltz was on track to fail by a tie vote in committee, but Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen cast a decisive vote to rescue him. 12-10, he advances to the full Senate.
