Trump on solar panels: "They kill all the animals. The animals jump on them and they fry."

Serie A is a pretty terrible product. Watching Inter v Fiorentina and its so slow. An over the hill De Gea is dominating in goal.

This guy won't even be able to win his 'home state' - a lot of the legacy media is just grasping for an alternative to some progressive because they know Newsom is kind of a loser at the end of the day (and probably wouldn't win California against someone who has actual commitments)

"Natural Causes" isn't a show just about nature, celebrating nature, recognizing the land stolen from indigenous peoples (and how they tended it before us) and protecting it. It's a show about community and how nature can bring people together. Plus, @jamesstout.bsky.social has a soothing voice.

Lisandro Martínez releases an official statement following a positive meeting with Michael Carrick and Manchester United board members.

Say what you will about the "Founders" (they were mostly bad dudes who didn't want to pay taxes), the First Amendment was a pretty good idea, imo.

Irish novelist Sally Rooney said on Wednesday that her books are being withdrawn from sale in the U.K. because of her support for Palestine Action, a protest group the British government has outlawed as a terrorist organization.

If I were a Democrat in Congress I would say fifa paying Trump $4 million for an empty office “raises serious questions” but because I’m a normal American person I can just say FIFA is bribing the president of the United States

This is somewhat orthogonal, but it feels like a lot of book ban supporters have a kind of pre-modern, and even ancient, view of 'the word', knowledge, or books. Strong 'the book will cast a spell over the children' vibes, which maybe tracks with rising illiteracy rates among adults?
