What a great soul.  Tom played so many iconic characters throughout his life, and he was generous to the people and causes he cared about, including the arts, veterans, and the environment. How lucky were we to have Tom and Julie in the Northwest. He will be missed.

Just found out it's National Coming Out Day. Amazing how that wasn't a press release from the White House. Happy National Coming Out Day to my brave brothers and sisters. And to those who will eventually come out. You have a safe place in my corner of the world.

Everyone has a strong opinion regarding capital punishment. No matter where you sit on the spectrum, this is an abomination.

I posted this last week without comment, but I'm going to comment now. The people who established the system of museums in the West had a very specific reason for doing so: they thought that having an appreciation for the wonders of the world was absolutely necessary for being a good citizen.

I must say that I went with an Nvidia card instead of an AMD when I bought my gaming rig a couple of years ago. If I can ever afford another one (big "if" at this point), I will certainly go with an AMD, BASED SOLELY on the complete odiousness of Jensen Huang. He is for sure one of the bad guys.
